It works us I expected, quick loading and simple navigation thru apps and settings. No play button and display on front are new for me, just remote controls.

It does what it is supposed to do. The app interface is clunky, but we use other devices for that. This is strictly for 4k movies and it works as advertised.

this machine is sweet...pictures are on point. I got it hooked up with all sony tv n soundbar...only downfall and reason it doesn't get 5stars...is the menu system is pretty simple and doesn't compare to Samsung uhd player menu but overall sony got their picture and upscale program on point. Hopefully they update the menu system with a firmware and not make people go out n buy another player.

I was excited to have this DVD player for the 4K that I would finally be able to watch on my 4K tv. The picture is awesome but I have a delay between the video and sound. I tried calling Sony customer service and they didn’t even understand what a lip sync problem even was... the customer support asked if I “turned it off and back on” and was extremely lazy. So far Sony is letting me down on this one and I’ll probably return the unit. Updating through the WiFi doesn’t work so you have to use a usb. Even updating didn’t fix the lip sync issue.

I have always liked Sony products and they continue to impress! I have a digital 1080 P XBR TV but that will be my next upgrade. For now this unit greatly improved the clarity of the Blueray movies I own and has given me, for the first time, the option to stream content from the internet.

So far have not had a problem with this DVD player. I like that you can get your apps on this player.

This player is incredibly reliable, the picture is magnificent and the streaming capabilities are top notch compared to other players. I bought this on sale, so definitely wait to buy it when it's sub-$100 since most people probably aren't as worried about physical discs anymore.

I’ve only used it once, but seems to be a good 4K player. I got it on sale for half price, so no complaints so far.

This was a splurge purchase for Christmas. I have it connected to a Sony receiver and a 65" VIZIO 4k TV. I can tell a difference from my prior LG BluRay player on BluRay play. 4k movies look great. Not many choices on the market for this type of player, but this works just as I expected.

Easy to set up. Don’t forget to purchase a separate HDMI cable, since it does not come with product.

It is very compatible with my Sony TV and sound bar. It is of course Blue Ray so everything is wild!

I bought my 4K player a year and half ago and it started messing up wife not working right because I bought insurance I got a new one and now it works perfectly before I had some problems with the new one no problem as yet I do recommend it is real nice movies are great

The streaming and 4K playback are awesome with this player, I would highly recommend to my friends !

I love the fact that it has 2 hdmi outs. So that I can watch it with or without the surround sound.

This was an upgrade from the Samsung 8500, which had a lot of compatibility issues with my Sony 940 75” & a lot of pixelated fast movement issues as well. The Sony fixed all of the above, with better Audio options & a big difference in picture quality, should have switched earlier!

We love the blu ray player. 4k hd is awesome. We bought several movies in 4k hd and it works great.

I bought the Samsung 4K player before Christmas because the Sony was not out yet. I had dark picture issues with the Samsung, had to do a settings adjustment for different movies. Switched to the Sony as soon as it came out, what a difference! Now trying to unload my Samsung for $50, no takers.
