The playback from this machine is perfect. There is no fade or loss of picture quality.

We use this product every day and can say without doubt that it is a very good player.

Have not had it long but have spent too much time with sony support.It seems to play discs ok but if you want to stream even with a direct wired connection it comes up way short. If you can buy it at 149 or less do it.It is also able to transmit a bluetooth signal to compatible devices but even with help from sony I can't do it.There is a reason why the price continues to drop, 99 would be the right price because it is a 4k blu ray.

This Sony paired nicely with my new Sharp tv. Picture and sound is absolutely perfect. The speed of the player is blistering, little to no wait time for movies to load. Blu Ray movies get a nice upscale to 4K. Free movies from Sony came quick, 3 working days to Hawaii!

Sometimes it’s worth spending a little extra on a device. I was a little skeptical to spend $200+ on a Blu-ray player, now you can scoop up a random cheap one up for $60. I’ve had a few of those and was tired of low quality devices. This Sony is worth the extra you’ll spend. It syncs perfectly if you have a Sony tv as well.

I really wanted a 4K HDR Player and I got one, and thus far it has not disappointed. I wanted to try something new and Sony released this just about the time I was highly considering purchasing one. It works great, yet, I definitely would invest in getting the four year BestBuy Geek Squad plan, just in case something goes wrong. After all they are part of the machine world and sometimes, just sometimes, electrical devices tend to malfunction. At day's end 'tis a great product and works well, & I trust it more than the other brands.

This player is packed full of great features. It's been reliable ever since purchase.

I went with this Sony 4K player cause of how it was built. Heavy duty and not cheap. Also I reviewed a bunch of 4K bluray players for month before I chose this model. Haven't had any issues with the player at all and glad I went with this player.

The setup was straight forward and uncomplicated. As is the Operation of the player.

Excellent product. Sony is a good company, producing above average items. The product has performed to my satisfaction and I'm satisfied.

The performance has been great so far, so the 4 stars has nothing to do with the product’s performance. The price is just a little too high at $200. Streaming features are just OK and would recommend a Roku or something else. Build quality is excellent. $200 for a 4K player with some streaming features just feels a bit high in price.

I picked this up just to free up my old bluray and I did not anticipate how much better this makes movies look. Plus there is all the extras, like the ability to connect to streaming services. And it works GREAT combined with the rest of my Sony gear.
