Great higher quality player than most models. You can feel the weight of the chassis. This is almost at Sony's ES level components. Fast loading. Only drawback is no Dolby True HDR, but not a deal breaker. Upscaling of regular Blu-rays is fantastic.

I've always been a Sony fan. After reading a lot of reviews I thought I would give this model a shot. I purchased several 4k movie to watch on this player. It worked flawlessly. I found it works very well for up-scaling DVD's and Blu-Ray, to a 4k Sony TV.

I purchased the new Sony 4K DVD player based upon the recommendation of a Best Buy employee. I must say that I am completely satisfied with my purchase, especially since it came with 2 free 4K DVDs. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their equipment.

Works great most of the time how ever there is a few bugs . In short I've had to reset the player 3 times in about 3 wks to get functionality back . I would recommend this unit with a slight warning and the opinion of IF you can afford the Oppo UDP-203 you will be better off in the long run .If you don't want to spend over 500 bucks This Sony x800 is the player for you and hopefully these "bugs" will get sorted with updates !

I installed this product in less than 1 hour, which is great for a 69 year old man.

Nice looking unit. Easy to set up and performs well. So far I've been very pleased.

This thing works harmoniously with my Sony TV. When I turn it on my TV automatically detects that it was turned on and switches the input. Great picture quality. Able to watch Netflix and amazon prime on it. Now I wish I had sprung for the Sony sound system.

I have only used my new player a few times, but it has performed admirably so far.

Sony makes great products so I felt confident from the start. This is very easy to use for people of all ages. It's so easy to watch your favorite movies and then switch back to your favorite TV shows!

This is an awesome 4K player, it plays 3D Blue-Ray with great depth and clarity. It upconverts even DVD's to 4K (2160). When I hooked it up to my Sony 7.1 Home Theatre system it set itself up automatically. My home theatre remote will operate it as well. I love it!

I purchased a Sony AE1 OLED TV and wished to upgrade to a newer DVD. After careful review reading, I chose Sony - UBP-X800 - Streaming 4K Ultra HD 3D Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player. It compliments my New TV and is outstanding. Thanks Best buy.

This truly has awesome features, it's great to have one device for videos and cds!

This is my 2nd Sony BR Player. The first one I had for several years. I expect nothing less for this 4k player. Sony is a trusted and proven brand. The actual player has fast loading times and is well built.....almost heavy. The only grip I have is. There isn't any display info on the player except a green dot to indicate the machine is on.

This is a must have if you have a Sony Television. I wouldn't use any other brand.

I immediately was impressed with the picture quality and sound. Followed instructions for settings for 4k and was off flying. Although my receiver does not have 4k pass through, there was a difference in sound output. Picture quality is outstanding. Good investment.

Overall the player works very well. Picture is great. Sound is is great. I love that it will play my SACD. Takes a little time to find the settings to turn on Atmos and DTS:X which I found strange that you had to turn that on. I also wish there were more apps that would stream in 4K. Only Netflix, YouTube and Amazon at this time. The Vudu app does not.

This DVD player is easy to use and produces a quality picture and sound. It works great and it is a welcome addition to our television viewing equipment. The price was reasonable and the appearance of the DVD player is attractive and matching our other equipment.
