Great Ultra 4K DVD Player

I had an older player that could not play 4K DVD plus it wouldn't always play my BluRays any longer. I have a SONY 65" 4K TV and Soundbar so I had been waiting for the SONY 4K DVD Player. Love it so far

Was able to get an open box one and the quality is so much better than the Sony 4K DVD player I had before. Plus I like the look of a full size component in the cabinet compared to the smaller model I had before.

The picture quality is superb and the 3-d feature is fantastic. You feel like you are in a movie theater. I highly recommend this player for anyone looking for a great product for a reasonable price.

Just wish it had more apps like hbo go and also wish it would stream my VUDU stuff in atmos. Still having to use the xbox 1s for atmos audio when streaming.

Love all the apps, especially YouTube and Amazon Prime. Listening to a concert now as I write this. The remote is logical and makes for easy navigation among the features.

No Blues Blu-ray

Only knock is I don't need the 3D functionality since I won't be buying 3D movies but didn't care for the couldn't find a player that matched the color and detail at a cheaper price.

After the fact i was told by Best buy there were many problems with ARC systems and cable technology. appears theres no standards. Disappointed best buy sales never mentioned this when they saw me buy TV and Amp together with new dvd Player
