Additional purchase of same model about 2 yrs apart. Incremental improvements significant between years. Better sound, picture, and wifi connectivity. Software update easy.

This 4k player is well worth the price. I have some old DVDs and this brings them up to a blu-ray level. The picture quality is fantastic. The 4k quality on 4k discs is absolutely marvelous.

Connectivity was easy. Streaming works fine. No issues with playing movies either

Playback quality is great, as with my Sony TV though, not that fond of android TV.

Bought this to replace a Panasonic that was balky at best. This Sony is the best I have had so far. Feels substantial and streams better by far than the other two I have owned.

Sony is best whenever it comes to HD! They made the first 4K. They make Blu-Ray! They’ve always known their stuff! I have a Sony TV and I needed to get the Sony 4K Player for it!

Who could go wrong here I like it it’s bigger but the quality is great. Smooth play no noise and terrific picture. 199 on sale! Don’t let this great deal pass you buy.

We bought this to upgrade so we could watch Netflix & 3D movies. Was easy to setup. That being said, the player freezes from time to time. When that happens you have to unplug it to get it to reset. When we bought it the young man at Best Buy gave it a good review. Not thinking he’s read any of the reviews because about a third of the ones I read have the same problem that we’ve had with this one. I should’ve done more research before I bought it. Because I wouldn’t have bought it. I check for updates every couple of weeks to see if there’s a fix. I should’ve taken it back.

What can I say besides WOW! First 4K movie i watched was a newly released super hero flick. Tested all aspects of what a movie offers and this 4K player delivered right on the money!

Easy to connect and Easy to operate. It fit into the space in my cabinet where my old DVD player was. I would recommend this DVD player to any one needing 4K Ultra HD capability.

THIS PRODUCT IS A GREAT INVESTMENT FOR ANY FAMILY WHO ENJOY WATCHING MOVIES AT HOME. The picture is outstanding, the picture is clear and the color on the scene is awesome.

Everything u watch on this up converts to 4k. It is awesome. However it locks up sometimes. I took the first one back and the second does it as well. Still a great smart player. Hulu in 4k. Nice

Easy to use, happy with product. I thought it had more apps but it is working as expected. Bought it in conjunction with Sony Bravia TV.

Another great Sony item. This is player is great. Load times are fast, from powering on to loading disc and playing. Descent selection of apps for streaming. Picture quality is great too.

This blu ray player works awesome and has some really great extra features for anyone that doesn't already have a smart tv or wants another way of accessing netflix, hulu or other apps

Does everything I need in a very simple easy to use package. The unit is very weighty to help isolate it from the thunderous bass using a surround sound system during movie play back.

Sony makes the best TV's and the best devices to connect to those TV's. There's a reason why almost all movies are shot with Sony cameras and edited on Sony oleds.

I really like this player. Plays blue ray and 4k beautifully. My only complaint is I am unable to update thru wi if or with a LAN connection. I had to go to the Sony website and down load to USB drive and update thru USB drive. Something wrong with this unit.

The Sony 4K Ultra HD DVD player was easy to set up, has worked beautifully without any glitches. Provides us with excellent picture quality with BlueRay DVD and standard dvd's.
