It's my first 4k player, but I did lots of research on them to balance performance, reliability, and value before I decided on this Sony. I have no issues whatsoever. It has worked flawlessly since purchase and met or exceeded every expectation. You certainly can spend more and go for all-out performance, but for my money this was a perfect purchase. The Blue Shirts in the store were also a huge help. In fact, if not for their added input and me being able to see it in the store, I would have had a harder time narrowing, if not actually making my decision.

The player works as advertised. no complaints at this time.

I was hesitant to purchase this after having an Xbox One S, but I am very thrilled at the quality of this player and I don't regret one penny of this purchase.

I would highly recommend this product for many reasons. It is a bit more money, but it will play your Audio CDs, DVD, HD BluRay Disc and 4K BluRay Discs. If that wasn't enough it will stream Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, and a bunch more all in 4K. Ask yourself, if this player does all this why spend all the extra money on a "smart TV"? My answer is: get a high quality TV/monitor/projector to enjoy the superb image that this unit provides and avoid the extra gimmicky extra cost to have all the streaming services built in the TV which is not smart in my opinion.

Excellent dvd, Blu-ray and 4k player. Setup was a breeze. Already received two updates from SONY for this device! SONY does not forget you!

I didn't think there would be that big of a difference from my 4K wanna be player, but this has a much better picture and sound! Love watching movies on it!

We upgraded from a regular DVD player to this one when we got the new tv and are SOOOOO glad we did!!!! It's BETTER than being in a theater! Simply WOW!!!!!

It was a Christmas gift for my son and his new 4K TV. They are a perfect fit! The picture quality is great and it made streaming his favorite shows easy.

Bought a new 4K Sony tv the. Needed a 4K DVD player. Waited a few weeks until it came out but worth the wait. Smart player ready and good to go out of the box

I like the Hub apps, which work super on my 4K TV, besides displaying 4K DVDs very well. Integrated well into my entertainment system.

This is an excellent 4K 3D Blu Ray Player. The picture quality is absolutely beautiful. Got it for a great price during the holidays and I am loving it.

I love this player. My only wish is that it had a display. You really have no way of knowing time left without having a pop up on the screen
