Product is fine, but 4K discs are a pain

So I had to connect it directly to the second input of my projector. That works, but the hdr content is a pain. One shoe will switch over to hdr, but it doesn't switch back. I can't seem to find decent numbers to make anything in hdr look good. Regular blue ray seems to have more consistent colors thsn 4K.
