Poor quality for Sony

My dvds are clean but it continues to freeze mid movie and has to be shut off (at times I've had to actually pull the plug to get it to work again). It seems to happen at random points as well (not the same point in the DVD twice). For the money and the brand I expect much more. Picture quality is very good but if it keeps freezing then what is the point. I was hoping a software update would help but no luck so far. I would not recommend.

Great inexpensive 4k/3d player

I do not have a 4k monitor/TV but it seems that if you want high end sound codecs, you have to buy 4K disks now. This SONY covered all the features I needed, especially because it will send ATMOS to my DENON so I can enjoy my home theatre sound setup.
