    My previous Blu-ray player could not decode ATMOS and DTS:X. I do not have a 4k monitor/TV but it seems that if you want high end sound codecs, you have to buy 4K disks now. This SONY covered all the features I needed, especially because it will send ATMOS to my DENON so I can enjoy my home theatre sound setup.

    My previous Sony 3D BluRay player had become crash-prone. This Sony 4K, 3D, connected player was plug and play. Connecting to the network was easier than ever before. It worked with my receiver and projector immediately. I don't need 4K yet, but the 3D worked right away. No problems. Five stars.
