Easy to hook up and has a sharp picture on a 4K Television.

Top quality, great picture, low cost money and great value.

Had a Sony 4K blueray which I used for a year until this new version which is the ultra 4K came out. Very glad I bought this. It’s even better than I expected with shaper picture quality and sound all together. The apps that are pre installed are great for movie watching.its a little on the pricier side for a blue ray but it’s worth it.

I only just hooked up the player and already I am impressed. It has a nice sleek design and very responsive. I had it initially hooked up to a regular HD TV and the pictures from the movie were almost 4K, great upscaling! Now that the new 4k TV arrived the picture on the TV is awesome...............You will not be sorry you bought this.

Picked this player up a few weeks ago in store. Got the free movies probably less than 2 weeks after purchasing it. I ended up getting Passengers and Ghostbusters. The player loads quickly and looks great on my Vizio M Series. Netflix 4k+HDR works great as well as YouTube 4k+HDR. Youtube was added a few days ago along with a few other apps. I was actually surprised to see it comes with the WWE Network too. The amazon app for whatever reason does not stream at 4k anymore. It is believed that it is an issue with Amazon not Sony. It loads both UHD and regular Blurays very fast and the quality is amazing. You can choose to have the player upscale your blur ays to 4k. I just choose original resolution and have the TV do the upscaling. It feels well built and is very quiet.

The UBP is one of the best 4k blu ray players in the market due to its huge variety of functions. USB, Netflix, Youtube, App Store and alot of many different features as 3D included. It is worth the investment!!!! You will be completely satisfied with this product.

So far so good. We love the ease of use, the great picture resolution, and reasonable price. We haven't taken advantage of all of the options due to time constraints, but we love what we've seen so far.

This is the BluRay player I’ve been looking for, 4K, 3D, Sony. Yet now that I’ve started automating my home with smart devices it would be nice to see Google Home, Siri and Alexa integration. I have it hooked up through Logitech Harmony Hub, but there’s only so many commands available so integration isn’t as good as it could be, but I have the same situation with Apple TV and my LG 4K HDTV as well. Guess things will improve in coming years.

In August I purchased a Sony 4K Ultra HD, 3D, Blu Ray player (UBPX800). Set up was easy and although I haven't used everything it has to offer, so far I am very happy with it. My present TV is not 4K but picture quality is still very good. Audio quality (thru my receiver) is amazing (DTS, Dolby Atmos, etc). The Sony 4K Blu Ray Player came with an offer for 2 free 4K movies. I choose two action flicks. My next purchase from Best Buy is a 4K TV.

Is a very good choice by price and quality comparation.

I had a Samsung 3D blu ray that had the notorious "disc error" issue and would not turn on after very minimal use over a couple of years. I watched less than 25 discs on it before it stopped working. This Sony 4k Blu Ray player has lived up to its high reviews so far and the price during the Holiday season made it a perfect buy!

This is the best! DVD player I have ever purchased. It was very easy to setup and use. and I could not believe the quality of the movies and the sound quality it put out. I watched 3D Blu-Ray movies, and couldn't believe how awesome they looked and sounded. It also played My standard Blu-Ray movies and they are also unbelievable.

EVERYTHING looks so sharp/vivid/real! My Bad Boys 2 blunray looks that much BETTER and brings you that much closer to REALITY! Even streaming You Tube in 4K makes you feel like you're there. I have an optical out from the 900E tv turning the HDMI signal into RCA jacks that work in a 30 year old Audio Research preamp and amp- WOW!!

Sony most always make great products and from Tv’s to Blu-ray players and this is no exception.The 4K movies looks and reg Blu-rays look great on it and it has a lot apps on it too and Sony does a great job software updates unlike other company’s that I had problems not doing software updates and couldn’t play certain Blu-rays.

This Blu Ray player can do it all and the picture and quality are unmatched. The picture and sound from cable, Apple TV, Roku, or internet TV is compressed and never the highest quality. This is the best way to watch a movie and get the most from a 4K TV and surround sound system. Sony makes the best Blu Ray players by a mile.
