I purchased this player when I bought my new tv and sound bar. Funny thing is... my old player is a Sony, bought I think 8 or so years ago... still works but wanted to update everything at once. Everything works very well on this player and I would recommend it.

Don't forget to buy a high speed hdmi cable before you leave the store. The sales person told me that a cable was included in the box which was untrue. Hdmi cable is sold separately.

The picture is sharper clearer colors and smoother playback. Very heavy unit which gives it a silent operation and satbalizes it for better disc playback. The only down side is it does not have the traditional "clock" or timer display.
