I was disappointed with the size of the box. It seems like it has enough room for multiple discs in the player. I'm not sure I like the band of plastic that is used when opening the DVD slot. It is just more cost to manufacture and has no use to the player.

To compare my dad has the k8500 and it is good player but I give it to Sony for coming out with a premium 4k player at an affordable cost. The two free movies helped a lot as well when making my choice. It's fast and plays a lot of different media. Never skips a beat.

Refurbished and not working

I find it odd not finding battery for remote inside. It not working and not connecting. I love Sony but looks like quality control is going down. Very sad. I returned it.
