Love it! Can now play anything I want without having to use a different player. Only drawback I found is no zoom capability-so I can't get rid of the black line above and below a picture. Also plays 3D movies-I can't play them because I need 4 hook-ups and Sony didn't offer a TV with 4 hook-ups and 3D.

I bought this player after buying the Samsung UBDM8500 and I have to say I was far more impressed with the Sony. After all you know what to excpect with sony. I finally decided to make the jump from blu ray to 4K blu ray I am glad I did, now you can see and hear your movies on the best format out their!

Great picture......extremely easy to use....play music or watch a movie.

I bought a 4K movie with purchase and I love how sharp the picture is.

Had to replace a Yamaha BD-S681 which turned out to be the worst player I've ever purchased. needed something that would play SACD's as well. This Sony player does that and a whole lot more for much less than I paid for the crappy Yamaha. So happy with my Sony replacement!

I purchased an X930E TV & NT5 sound bar separately and added this 4K player to complement the set. I was impressed. Any of the other sony remotes can control this device, and this remote can control the others. The integration is terrific. I have yet to watch a 4K disc, but look forward to it.

It's a very good player for the price I haven't found any real negatives yet.

Works very well and between the TV and Ultra HD Player presents a great picture

I own a samsung and xbox one s but this player is my go to for watching films. Have had no hdr or disk issues with expendables 3 or sicario with this player. A+

It just works the way it should. wish it support dolby vision but hope in near future

The Sony X800 is a great player for DVD, Blu-Ray, And 4K material I have played all formats with no issues and now use the player for all my streaming. The player loads quickly and has a quite motor. There still some issues with the Amazon app but I'm confident they will be resolved with a FW update.

This SONY BlueRay 4k Ultra HD player is well worth the money. The level of detail and the intensity of the colors it extracts from a disc is nothing short of eye-popping. The great movies that have been transcribed to BlueRay Ultra HD discs are given their due; try Lawrence of Arabia.

I connected this player to my Sony 4K tv and the display is incredible. My BDs and my new 4K discs look fantastic. It was easy pick up from BB and even easier to connect. I also plugged an external drive via USB and I can now view photos and other videos (in all of the formats that I've collected).

I did my research before buying a 4K bluray player, I'm very happy that I purchased this product. I recently purchased the Sony 4K XBR-49 inch X800D TV, so this is a marriage made in heaven. This 4K bluray player is built solid, it's a little tank and loading up any disc is easy, fast, and precise.

WiFi works a lot better than than I thought and was very pleased! There were not any loading icons while watching any movies from Vudu or Netflix. We don't have an ethernet wire hook-up close-by to the TV. The DVD / Blue-ray player worked very well and have not had any issues thus far.
