If you are in the hunt for this system, then stop your search and buy. Syncs up nicely & smartly with your Sony 4K UHD TV as you would expect. Has other connection features, WiFi, BT, apps so you have no excuses.

The Black Friday type deal is the best way to go, and definitely worth it. The apps are great, and YouTube is beautiful. Also love the DSD playback and the ability to use a flash drive for FLAC files.

I assume I will run into more, but so far out of 20 discs, this is the only disc (tried 2) I had problems with and have read online that other people have the same issue with Deadpool playing on this unit. Sony needs to resolve this. Otherwise for the price range this is a good unit.

Now this sony is very good, I'm a big fan of sony in the first place but this 4k player was an easy set up and good amount of apps too

It plays a large variety of discs and has an easy control setup. I am amazed how fast it can read discs - much faster than my previous player. The sound and picture quality are exceptional,

I think it may have an issue with internal memory, I tried to play Alien Prometheus, but it would not play as it needed internal memory, when i put a thumb drive in the UBS slot the movie would play. Still not sure if I am going to keep this unit of that issue.

It integrates well with my sharp 4K TV and Onkyo A/V receiver. They all "talk" to each other making it easy to use. The only down side is that it has a minimal number of "apps"; Netflix, prime, Vudu, etc. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase and that is ALWAYS a plus.

I'm so happy that the best buy Magnolia customer representative was able to help me with this purchase and knew exactly what I needed. I am very happy with this player.

I have been a Sony fan for, wow 50 years. This is the perfect compliment to a great tv. It integrates well and picks up the wireless internet the first time. Netflix and amazon tv works well. Highly recommend
