Best I've found in price range with the options it has I'm pleased.

Very easy to use the remote is layed out nice ultra hd picture.

The player is top notch. It provides great HDR to SDR conversion and is a joy to yours with a Atmos system. YouTube, Amazon, and Netflix in 4k. Easily a great all in one player for discs and streaming that has a better interface and audio features than an Xbox One S.

From the beginning this performed great! However, after a while it started sticking and requires to be unplugged and plugged back to work again. Furthermore, it has become extremely slow to the point where I had to stop using it.

Works well went with this unit because of the better quality

I love this thing and I hope it stays running for 8 years! I honestly don't want to replace it until the technology is undoubtedly obsolete. Great features, great performance. I have already had a family member a d a friend get one after playing with mine.

Returned because my sony tv burnt up in a day so took back to get a samsung to go with samsung tv

WW bought all Sony at one time 75'Tv, the best sound bar and the Blu-ray player and sadly all is excellent except the Blu-ray remote..you must leave the doors open on entertainment center for it to work...very irritating to pay $$$$ and have to leave doors open.

My daughter solidity realize that when she was buying me movies that she was buying 4K movies. I had to run out and purchase this player. It was a great deal, plus, it matches my Sony 4K TV!

Simple to operate, good features, quality is good, good purchase

I was worried that this device wouldn't be compatible with my tv. I got it together and it easily does the same as if I got the same brand as my TV. The only thing I didn't care for is the way the remote looks. I am afraid I will lose it.

Great movie player for us and it was a good price.

Don't buy this product it is the worst unit that is out there on the market and Son isn't doing anything to correct the unit. Very first day movie froze and then a issue not the a movie that I had in the unit was not allowed to be played on this device . Next movie blacked out no video only audio , next issue unit wouldn't eject dvd , would power off by the on and off button had to unplug from the wall . Took unit back the next day and got an exchange for the same unit , guess what the same things are going on with the second unit so I took it back again didn't get another one . All the reviews and issues on this unit date back to when it came out in 2017 Don't buy this unit nor the unit before this one it has the same issues worst 4k dvd player on the market

The 4K upscaling is amazing! Apps work nice also. Easy to setup

This player is everything Sony promised. Although I only have 2 true 4k movies, I am impressed how it takes my blue-rays and upscales them to 4K. Way better than my son's Xbox. The black (night) is truly black, not some blotchy purple, black and grey amalgamation.

This player fits my earlier model 4K TV that does not have HDR capabilities. The player has HDR to SDR conversion that allows for a higer quality signal that my non HDR 4K TV can use to get the expanded color range of 4K. It also makes my Blu-ray disc look better.

Not difficult to setup for person with exposure to electronic equipment but may require more step-by-step instructions for novices. Functionality mostly standard for price point at market intro; however, limited output options such that connecting to most home speaker system with 5.1 configuration requires additional adapters and wiring+connectors.
