Excellent product. I was looking to upgrade with the purchase of a 65" OLED 4K Ultra HD TV. This player did not disappoint. It is Wifi ready and works flawlessly. For the price you can't beat it; plus it's a Sony!!

Bought this to play my 4k blue-rays since my other Sony was only a streaming blue-ray player. Did not fully understand the difference at the time. Love how this player plays everything at 4K quality on my 4K TV.

This player works very well, and also provides access to the internet, which is built right in. Unlike Sony's 75-inch TV, this has the added feature making surfing the web a breeze. Two thumbs up!

Our family loves movies and this Blu-ray player is already being used daily. The set up was simple, and it easily connects to the internet for Netflix and Amazon Prime movies when we are not using one of our own discs. I definitely recommend this player for families and movie watching fans.

I bought this unit to replace my old blu ray player and I was so happy to see how much faster it is than my previous player. The streaming apps are faster than my Apple TV and now I can stream Spotify through my stereo.

I bought a refurb first because it was half price but it wouldn't work. I returned the refurb and paid full price for a new item and it has worked great so far. I would recommend the player to anyone.

We are very impressed with the difference in quality of picture, even from basic DVD's. It is almost not worth buying the BR versions. Extremely happy with setup...very easy! Overall, for the sale price, a GREAT buy!

Home screen is very low resolution, otherwise it is a decent player

Having upgraded my television to a 4K-capable system, needed to get myself a high-end player capable of handling the newest video standard and everything that came before as well. Couldn't be happier.

A really great Blu-ray player. Handle 4K content and 3-D content extremely well. No problems at all. Uses one HDMI output to your audio receiver and a separate HDMI output to your television. Amazing quality.

The 4k Blu-ray player works well most of time, but every once in awhile it will lock up and become will not respond. The only way to get around the lock up problem, is to unplug the unit and re-apply power.

Bought as an up grade with Bluetooth,as of right now ,works great ,disc come up quicker ,haven’t tried Bluetooth yet ,but when I do I will get back to you ,so far love everything about it

It loads fast, has excellent controllability. The preloaded apps are nice. I haven't had it pause or hiccup during playback yet. I highly recommend. Currently you can't buy better at this price point.

This plays 4K blu-rays well and is worth it to get the most out of your 4K TV. But my one issue with this, is the loud fan noise, which continues even when you turn the device off. It's a bit concerning and becomes an annoyance in an otherwise quiet environment.

Picture is fantastically clear. Love this unit. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the flip down front when the tray opens. But have not had any issues with it, so it's OK I guess.

Had looked at purchasing this DVD player in the past but ended up getting another brand. Well that brand only lasted a year. So once they said that it wasn't fixable I went ahead and purchaded the Sony. Still new as yet so time wil tell on the longevity on it.

The unit didn't sync with my Onkyo or Denon. Returned product

I have had the Sony UBP-X800 for a few months now. The player has perform well but has had a few hiccups. The player froze when I played a couple 4K blue rays. I had to unplug the player to get it to reset and play the movie. Hopefully this is a rare incident and won't happen again.

Quickly boots-up disc when inserted. My previous Panasonic Blu-ray took about 1 minute before initializing the video content. Easy initial set-up. having HDMI output for video and HDMI audio output is a plus.
