    This 4k player does an excellent job of upscaling regular Bluray movies.4k movies look awesome and this unit is built to last.4k HDR looks great on my Sony xBR900e 65” tv.

    This was a replacement for a much older model of the same brand. As a result there were many similarities in the set up which made it extremely simple. The quality is excellent.

    The unit works Great...Easy setup...The one thing I don't like is there is nothing on the front that lights up...No count down or Clock nothing other than a little dio...Letting you no it's on! it could have been better...

    Have a great Sony 65” inch 3D HD TV, this put the HD 3D films on my flatscreen that wowed my wife and I, great to enjoy on a Saturday nite, with popcorn!!

    I Like Sony products and love the backwards compatibility as well as the 3-D option playback it compliments my Sony 3-D tv nicely

    My new Sony - UBP-X800, 4K Ultra HD Player sends an incredibly detailed, bright and clear image to my new Sony 75" XBR75X940E TV. The images and audio are awe inspiring.

    Easy to connect (HDMI to TV & power cord). Quiet operation loading/opening/closing. Plays DVD's and CD's as advertised. You will not be disappointed with the DVD player.

    Hook up is simple. Player loads fast and is quiet. TV recognizes player and switched source input immediately. Pre-loaded apps are appropriate. Easy to personalize Apps.

    I played a European disk on it and was surprised it worked unlike other brand products I tried. Maybe it is because 4K Blu-ray is region free to begin with?

    I returned it as my Sony 4K hdr 75 inch tv that I bought last year stopped working and Sony couldn't fix. Thank you Best Buy for letting me return it. I do not trust Sony products anymore.

    The player has nice features w/various apps to stream or utilize for media. For 4K it has been really solid and works great w/Amazon Echo or Logitech's all in one remotes.

    We use this blu Ray player frequently. Great 4K resolution which we didn’t get with other blu Ray players which is upscale enough to 4K...not actually 4K.

    The Sony UBP-800 player had high reviews and it came highly recommended by several sales associates. It does not disappoint. It plays great, CDs and DVDs! Haven't tried blu-ray yet. Drawback, haven't been able to sync with TV remote
