Have had trouble with turning the unit on, have had to unplug it at times. Very frustrating. Maybe I haven't figured out a good power setting. picture is awesome though.

worth the extra money to buy the top of the line model. Better looking, nicer case and there was only a $50 difference between the two when I got mine.

Really no need to pay another 2-3 hundred dollars for an Oppo or Panasonic when you can buy this unit. It performs equally if not better than those high end units.

Decided to stick with Sony for a 4K blu ray player over the cheaper Samsung. Just trust the Sony brand more. Even blu ray discs look better with the 4K upscaling.

this sony is everything you would expect from a sony. perfect color not over saturated extremely accurate color very lifelike.worth every penny

Purchasee 1st one to go with my new 75in Z series 4k Sony TV. It worked for about 15 months, and then had issues playing newer 4k disks. Went through all kinds of trouble shooting w/ sony, and they didn't have a clue, and didn't want to replace it as defective. Bought a 2nd one (bitter pill) and it worked fine. BEWARE ... while I like the playback quality of this player on my Zseries TV, don't expect sony to be of much help if you have issues. Their poor customer service / relations is starting to annoy me greatly, considering how much money I spent !!!!! ( approx 10k $$$$)

Don't get me wrong the picture quality is great but the load times are annoying and the cost of this is much to high for what your given. Best to just buy a Xbox One for 4K

Sony is known for great products, but reputation alone isn't good enough. this product performs as it should the extra HDMI out for Audio only was a great touch.

Bought this recently when on sale. Replaced an old HDDVD. Loads much faster. Standard DVDs look good. Have not purchased BR or UHDBR disc yet to play. Would be nice if Sony included coupon for UHDBRD disc with purchase.

So far this DVD player is spot on with it's description and features. We are very happy with our purchase and hope to get many years our of this equipment.

This is a great player even does 3D movies and it played them amazingly. I had just one 3D movie and after seeing this I bought more and the 4K movies too.

I brought this dvd 4k player based on Sony s reputation and glad I did . Works great and wireless hookup was no problem. Everything about it is flawless.

This DVD player does everything I want it to, the control set is logical and it has given me no problems. A great deal for a very good price.

This play all types of video disks without a problem. That apps work as good or better than my Roku stick. Like it so much I bought the matching AV amp.

Overally a great quality player. 4k movies look phenomenal. User interface is not complicated at all. Gives you access to Apps as well. Great buy.

This device got all you need for your tv room, you can see a movie from a disc or streaming from internet even a storage device, very friendly interface

I did my homework on this because it's a fairly new product that hit the market. Best price for this quality. Very quiet when loading. Great job Sony.

With the death of 3D Blu-Ray TVs, I was so glad I could still find another player for my TV. Another great Sony product!

It is a very good DVD/Blu ray player. I have been using it for many years without problems. The remote is nice and I have no complaints.
