Good apps but I think Apple TV has better picture and sound. I bought it for the convenience of using the build in apps. Time to update a 6-7 years old player. Not worth the $200 to get just the 4K capability.

Love this HD Blu-ray player. Easy setup to our 4k UHD 65"t.v. Stream via Internet apps. like Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, etc etc. Great picture.

Excellent 4K bluRay player. I love watching 3D on my LG OLED. Startup is quick, and access to Amazon, Pandora & VUDU is a plus. Network updates are quick.

This 4K Ultra Player paired with an LG OLED TV results in an amazing picture and just as good, if not better than theater quality.

Best entry level 4k bluray player, but it lacks full capability if you want to be able to play remux 4k through the usb port local HD.

This is a great buy for any movie lover. It loads all manner of media quickly and has great play quality. Even the pre-loaded apps are fast.

At first I was skeptical about buying a $150 DVD player but turns out it was worthy every penny! Simply cannot beat the quality of this fine piece.

I purchased this player about six weeks ago. The player is very quiet and works very well with the Sony receiver. The Smart Apps also work very well.

I had a cheaper unit before. Couldnt get my sound bar.to work right. Found out i needed a fancier setup. Was not disappointed.

This Sony UBP X800 is exactly what's needed to enjoy 4K HDR at it's finest. It also does a great job upscaling regular DVD's and 1080p blu ray discs.

Did some research and found this player to be best bang for your buck. I have a Samsung 4k 9 series and it's awesome. Upscale is superb.

I am a very satisfied customer of Sony products over the years. I have not had the time yet to hook up this new unit and try it out.

Sony has the best audio and video in existence because they perfect their technology while all other companies only care about the bottom line.

Bought this player a week before Christmas for 150$, I didn’t think I’d find a better deal. I hooked it up and played the new 4K Wonder Woman movie. I was not that impressed. Maybe It needs a break in period

So I upgraded to this player and it is very nice. The audio processing is great and it has a solid upscaller for non had content.

I bought this on black Friday and what a deal! Very solid design and 4k pass-through features. Connected HDMI with a AudioQuest cinnamon cable.
