So far this is a really good 4k bluray player. The setup is super simple. Along with maneuvering through the main menu. It plays your movies instantly without lag of loading. So far I love this choice!

I caught this player on a black Friday deal for half off. It's would have been worth it at full price. The picture is so sharp that I find myself putting on movies just ask I can marvel atvthe picture.

I purchased this player for $149 on Black Friday and couldn't be happier. Excellent video quality, plays every video file format I throw at it, and it feels SOLID. I was actually surprised by its heft.

This dvd player reminds me of how devices used to be made. Heavy and solid like it is made to last, easy to set up and works great. I bought two for work and should have grabbed a third at that price

Very easy setup and ready to use in minutes. The picture quality is great on my 4K TV and with a good quality sound bar to match makes an excellent choice. The Blu-ray player I had been waiting for.

The performance is rock solid. Pictures are superb. Sound is sensational. Streaming is lightning fast. All this in a case so thin you have to remind yourself it's there. At the price, I'm delighted.

Once paired to my 4K Sony tv, the quality was amazing! You can really tell the difference in the picture and the sound. Definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to experience the full 4K quality.

It can play different media like blue ray or 4K disks reliably as well as YouTube comparing to its predecessors. It will be a better product if its remote control is like nszgs7. One of its problem is the Harmony can wake up both older and new DVD players inconveniently.

Read lots of reviews before settling on this Sony! Really wanted a 4K player that played SACD discs. The ultimate bonus is not listed in any review or specs: it plays PAL region DVDs! First stand alone DVD player I have ever owned that played DVDs recorded overseas! Oh, it happens to play 4K discs beautifully also! Picture is way better than from a satellite source. Player is larger and heavier than most Blu-ray players. Obviously very well made! Highly recommended!

Only been using it for a few weeks but I’m very happy with quality of the picture and all the apps you can use. If you don’t have a smart tv, this will allow you to watch Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, etc.

The quality of the DVD player is excellent and the features are easy to use. We played our first movie on it and we were both extremely satisfied of the clarity and picture details of this product

This player is so very well-constructed. Metal body, heavy... it just feels solid. And it works well, from what I can tell (some reviews online speak of it freezing - I didn't experience that in the short time I had it). I ultimately "downgraded" to the lower model, X700, for a single reason - Dolby Vision. I cannot believe this player doesn't support it, and cannot be updated to support it. At the end of the day, you can't go wrong with this player, especially if your TV doesn't support Dolby Vision, but if it does, then I suggest looking at the X700 instead.

I really like this player. Far superior to the LG one I replaced. I mainly bought it for it's 3d capabilities which look amazing, and being 4k I'm future proofed (at least until 4k is replaced!)

I switched from an old 7.1 sound system to this Sony recently. Easy set up, no more speaker wires which is really nice. The sound from this bar is really quite good, incredible base. I like the ability to use Bluetooth as well as the multiple inputs. I had a long think and test session at the store before I purchased it because it was pretty expensive. Overall I feel I made a good choice and would recommend this product for its ease of use and functions

I was used to using a PS3 as my Blu-ray player. This was a definite upgrade. I don’t use many of the apps so I can’t speak to those but the player works beautifully and I have not had any issues.

The reviews on line were pretty consistent so I decided to purchase unit. Great unit the 4K movies are view excellent, prettty easy to operate and you can also stream movies. Overall great unit

Been waiting for a better 4k player that also is lower cost than the more expensive Samsung. This player checks all the boxes. EXTREMELY HAPPY with the responsive and fast Netflix application!

Awesome DVD Player! You put a disk in and it starts playing whatever awesome movie you chose. Unbelievable! Includes all the hardware you need. A DVD player and a wire to connect it. Love it!

I would recommend this Blue ray player to anyone buying for 4K UHD movies. The resolution on my Samsung 4K UHD TV is great. It was easy to setup and has several apps that are also available.

Although it is Sony's entry level 4K Ultra UHD player, it has all the normal features you would expect from Sony. And its price is excellent. Good player to get when you buy a new 4K UHD TV
