Works awesome so far, no complaints, shows clear and crisp 4K resolution (of course with a 4K Blu-ray and 4K tv) and the price was awesome! Great value for your money if on a budget!

If you have a 4K, UHD television you need this player. I only wish the PlayStation Vue app was installed on the player. No way to add or delete apps. Otherwise, an excellent player.

Since we purchased a 4K TV last year I was waiting for the dust to settle on the 4K players, which one to get etc. We could not believe the picture and color quality of this player with the 4K movies but also with the standard Blu-ray movies we previously had purchased. Avatar just came alive on the screen with subtle hues of colors that were previously hidden. It feels like a solid unit and we're expecting to have it for many years.

Great picture and great audio once you figure out an overly complex audio menu. If you intend on having the player decode then no issues at all. I prefer decoding at my receiver and this is usually a simple setting change however it took some digging.

This product matches my Sony TV. Wen from a Samsung 4K Blue Ray to the Sony. Much better product.

I finally wanted to see the 4K experience. I love this machine, it is built like a tank. Very quiet eject mech. The picture is sharper than a Blu-Ray. That is with 20-20 vision.

The Sony is simply beautiful and I couldn’t be happier. Setup was a breeze and the streaming apps are flawless. Great picture and upscaling. Quiet and smooth operation. Flawless.

I got the SONY 4K UHD 3D Blu ray player at a Best Buy store on Black Friday. I'm glad that I get that machine from SONY : fantastic pictures and great sound. Highly recommend !

This was my first 4K bluray player and I'm pleased with it! Just had a recent glitch with the home screen, it kept flashing on and off. Hope this is not a reaccuring thing!! But other than that, it's been a joy to watch and listen to 4K movies, bluray movies on my 4K TV not to mention listening to cds on this player! Cool gracenotes feature of this 4K player is to witness the cd info including picture of CD cover on my TV!! Luv this feature but the player over all is decent, doing what it was made to do!!

I love watching movies on my Sony HDR 4K and this 4K player completes the system. It works great with the television and everything just seems to flow together. Great product.

I did some research on 4k blue ray players and noticed that this Sony player was highly rated. By chance this player went on sale for 50% off... I jumped on it, it showed up in 2 days and was simple to set up.... now for that 4k TV to go on sale

Samsung was first, this Sony is now the second 4K player on the market. This unit works well with a minimum of bells & whistles. Very unobtrusive, don't even know when it's on.

Yes you can spend 4times more money to buy a better 4K Blu-ray player if you want to But if you are looking for a real good 4kHDR picture for a reasonable price this is best

The sound is incredible. Was able to link cellphone easy. Whether it is sound from the TV or music from my phone, the sound is very enjoyable, rich, and loud. Great purchase.

Device is so easy to use especially when accessing Netflix, Hulu, or listening to CDs. It makes the picture so clear and crisp. Wish we’d bought this Sony Blue Ray long ago.

The clarity of the picture is amazing. I have not used the box for any of its other features yet, such as access to Netflix and other online apps, but assume they work fine.

Sony, again, delivers a great player. The 4K playback and the upscaling is excellent,the boot speed is nice and integrates seamlessly with my Sony Bravia which is fantastic.

Here I go again...I’ve been a very loyal Sony customer. Pros: Great picture Cons: tray doesn’t open when button is pressed. unit will not turn on/off. unit will not play disc - says ‘no disc’ or ‘unable to play’ The 2 top cons are only rectified if the unit power cord is unplugged and replugged. I’m not sure why it won’t play DVD’s that are only a few years old (Depeche Mode CD/DVD). This unit should be at most $150.

We bought this Blu Ray player to use with our a new 55" 4K TV. it's a perfect companion. We haven't been to a theater since. We just watch HD movies at home and we love it.

Bought this 4K player to go along with my 4K Sony TV and it is awesome. Picture quality is great. Have to make sure you set it up correctly to get the best picture quality.
