We've owned Sony TVs, VHS tape decks (!!!), and this is our second Blu-ray player, the first with 4K. The menu interface is good, the thing streams movies like crazy, and the controls are very functional. We don't play that many DVDs anymore, but our collection of CDs sounds great.

Waited for few months for Sony 4k hdr blueray player! It was worth the wait! And it plays 3d also

I really like the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray picture but have not tried 3D yet but am looking forwards to it.

This is teamed up with a LG OLED 4K! Outstanding picture! Our jaws drop every time we watch a 4K dvd!

This 4K player is also easy to set up the book explains a lot for changing sound and picture quality

The reviews I read were saying how great it was for $300 , but for one $150 it was a fabulous deal !

it does what its supposed to , I switched from Samsung to sony and wont be going back , great quality

if you sit close enough to the tv the picture makes you feel like you are in the middle of the action

I am now on my third HDMI cable. This one I ordered to be minimum of 18 Gig as specified.On the second day I used the Player after installing the new cable, I was streaming You Tube and the screen went blank. The only way I could revive it was to unplug it and wait a couple of minutes to plug it back in. It's done this since I bought it. I'm going to return it. Not worth the trouble.

Only played one DVD so far but everything works great. Easy to use. One of the best ones out there!

This is my first 4K DVD player and really didn’t know what expect. This unit was on sale for a great price so I decided to purchase it at the recommendation of a sales associate. I purchased a 4K DVD and watched it and the player performed very well. I think it would have been a good buy even if weren’t on sale. It is also a streaming player as well!

My old Blu-Ray was ok, yet, this new Sony 4K has widened my eyes to a new world of clarity n vision

This is my first UHD Player and works great with my Sony 850D. Picture and Audio quality is amazing with 4k UHD and upscale of DVD, Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray.

Hooked this up to a Samsung 65" 8 series 2016 model tv. Set up was easy and they picture is great.

Works flawlessly. Compatible with all my other 4K UHDR home entertainment components as advertised.

Good build quality. Has good weight to it...feels very solid. It is pretty wide, takes up quite a bit of room. Upconverts regular Blurays and DVDs. Has a USB port on the front. I have an external SSD connected, filled with 4K HDR video files. It has no problem playing them.
