I've been a proponent of Sony's for years and they've satisfied me again. Watching 4K movies on this player is theater quality. Watching blue rays via up scaling is awesome. I would definitely recommend this player to everyone. Quality and value!!!

I got this very good 4k player for a good price wich makes it that much better. Movies look great, 4k hdr, streaming seems to me tha also looks better than with smart tv. Music sounds better playing this player. Youtube pandora and spotify.

Great universal player although it has frozen on my twice. Also when I turn it on now the disk drawer automatically opens wether I’m watching a movie or not. May just be this player but aside from that I’ve been very impressed with this players 4K capability and it’s ability to upscale dvds and Blu Ray disk to almost 4k clarity.

The player is great, finally can play my 4K movies and love the picture.

Heavy and stable Quiet as a dream Simple to set up though a few setting will need to be tweaked for optimum viewing. Keep your manual where you can find it. Several movies were perfectly displayed until I put in a wide screen movie that appeared in the correct format but about half the proper size. Simple and quick fix in settings. Response to the remote is fast. Only downside is the manual: directions could be clearer and more detailed. Although all the apps I generally use are on my T.V. , this machine has even more of them, more than I would consider using. Granted, this is an older model, but I bought it after comparing reviews to the newer. Either model would be a good choice, but I think this one has the edge. No regrets.

I purchased this when it was on sale over the holidays. It's built like a tank (almost all metal). The only thing that would make it better is if it had a back-lit remote control, a control buttons, and display on the front of the player.

Great value and everything I could have wished for, a massive upgrade in sound and picture. Fully supports the capabilities of the new Sony 4K television and much greater sound quality when played through a high end processor amp and speaker system

everything works better pause search stop, video and audio much better.

I was able to snag this 4k player for $150 and it is worth every penny.

From Blu-Ray to 4K is like goimg from VHS to DVD. Absolutely amazing!!

Great Quality, great 4k picture once you get your TV settings adjusted.

Very good Blu ray player. Picture quality and sound is excellent. Hooked up with a SONY TV made it a piece of cake to install. Only complaint I have is that with the old standard DVD we cannot fill the screen (common with all players) Have to run on "Full Screen" which cuts off a bit of the picture.

This product works perfect with my Sony 75” 4K tv.it actually made the sound on my tv way better. 4K movies look awesome
