I got this very good 4k player for a good price wich makes it that much better. Movies look great, 4k hdr, streaming seems to me tha also looks better than with smart tv. Music sounds better playing this player. Youtube pandora and spotify.

Great value and everything I could have wished for, a massive upgrade in sound and picture. Fully supports the capabilities of the new Sony 4K television and much greater sound quality when played through a high end processor amp and speaker system

Great universal player although it has frozen on my twice. Also when I turn it on now the disk drawer automatically opens wether I’m watching a movie or not. May just be this player but aside from that I’ve been very impressed with this players 4K capability and it’s ability to upscale dvds and Blu Ray disk to almost 4k clarity.

The player is great, finally can play my 4K movies and love the picture.

I purchased this when it was on sale over the holidays. It's built like a tank (almost all metal). The only thing that would make it better is if it had a back-lit remote control, a control buttons, and display on the front of the player.

The 4K, BluRay player worked really well with my 4K Sony TV and my Sony AV receiver. It was easy to hook up and had a clear beautiful picture when watching a 4K Disc. I was very impressed with both the picture and sound.

everything works better pause search stop, video and audio much better.

I was able to snag this 4k player for $150 and it is worth every penny.

Very satisfied with the quality of the blu-ray player. Perfect addition to my Atmos theater setup! Easy to hook up to my system and easy to use. Remote control is compact but easy to use with colored buttons. No complaints!

From Blu-Ray to 4K is like goimg from VHS to DVD. Absolutely amazing!!

This is a pretty good BR player. Streaming is good and rarely crashes. Using it daily and it's been going strong for years now. Picture quality is excellent. Nothing else expected from a Sony TV/Video product!

I originally came into my fave North Colorado Springs BestBuy to purchase a cd...NEVER found it! BUT, at ANY BestBuy, isn't there another part of the store U probably can part with some of Ur hard-earned cash??? OF course there is! HA! Needless to say, I sauntered over to the streaming hardware & engaged into some casual conversation with Mr Casual Josh Martinie...we went from low-end streaming devices to high-end models...& I was about to purchase the high-end model, when I spied upon the latest Ultra HD-DVD entry by Sony, & decided to inquire...Josh had ALL the answers, & more than I had considered for my streaming & viewing ways...OFF I went with the X800, some new cables, & although I'm NOT set up completely everything up (BUSY on my vacation...) I'm CERTAIN Casual Josh's recommendations will follow thru & I'll be smiling!!!

This product works perfect with my Sony 75” 4K tv.it actually made the sound on my tv way better. 4K movies look awesome

easy to install, and connect to network. easy on screen menu for adjustments. design looks match my other sony products.

Sound on my 4K tv is sooo much better with sound bar. Good investment.
