I bought two of these and so far really love them.

The Sony UBP-X800 is an excellent 4K / BD / DVD player that has worked flawlessly since purchased. 4K images are beautiful as are Blu-ray discs played and the UBP-X800 syncs nicely with the Sony 4K TV we have.

I watched a 4K DVD. It is awesome and really life!

This 4K blu Ray player is a BEAST...literally...it’s well made and heavy duty...I don’t have a 4K tv yet but I bought this because it’s the only affordable player that is coded for both atmos and dts:x

Easy setup, sinc's to our Sony tv with no problem.

I was surprised with the quality of this 4K blu-ray playe'rs picture quality. Simply awesome. It is heavy compared to the weight all of the DVD players I owned previously. I assume that is because of quality materials ( metal vs plastic ) used in it's construction. I am very happy with this unit's performance.. Bravo to SONY, I replaced my older SONY 1080P blu-ray with this unit and I'm very happy that I did although my old SONY unit still works fine, this 4K unit's picture blows right past it! I did purchase and mate thIs 4K BLU-RAY with a lower priced 65 inch, HiSense 4K TV, but I'm very happy with the results, especially since I am out only $960 total for the 4K BLU-RAY player and 4K TV.

I bought this to pair up with my new 70 in Sony Bravia and Sony didn't let me down. They make a great pair. I play Ultra HD 4k movies on this player and the picture quality is second to none.

I picked this up, at a bundle price when I bought my sony OLED tv. Have yet to be disappointed.

I bought my dad a cheap $75 Samsung DVD/Blueray player last year, and it's broken last month. You pay peanut you get monkey right? So I decided to go big on the player this time just to see if it'll last. And he's loving it so far, going through all of his Motown records with this new player. We're every satisfied.

This is an outstanding machine. The HD picture it provides is as good as I could have imagined. Easy hook-up and easy operation. If you want the best 4K player for the money, this is it!

I purchased the Sony player when I got an e-mail from BB announcing a special 3 day sale for $30 under any of the major competition. Like many of the reviewers stated, this player is heavy and built well. I have a Sony TV (newer model), so when I put a DVD into the player, my TV automatically switches to the right input without having to push the input button on the remote. The picture quality is excellent, and it streams well also. This machine also up converts your non blue-ray DVD's. I know I will have this unit for a long time. I am very pleased with the player.

Initially this player pleased me due to its snappy response. It was really fast in its processing of the apps and various functions. Then about a week later it needed an update and would not launch any apps or update via wireless internet. I researched a fix online and came up with nothing. I eventually tethered the player to my iPhone X and was able to update through my mobile phone. Then it worked perfect again.

Another great Sony product. Upscaling of lower quality video to 4K is big plus for this DVD.

I bought this on sale because of the features, but I do wish it wasn’t so bulky and plastic.

I got this player since the other 4k players out there (there aren't many of them at all right now) weren't what I was looking for and didn't have the best reviews. This player is fast and works with like every format there is so I'm really happy with it right now. The youtube app on it is fast and works well too.

I purchased the UBP-X800 after exchanging it from a lesser model without 4K support. The native upconversion alone makes this player worth the higher price. But at the same time I bought this I bought a 4K UHD HDR disc to try. I’m usually payed back when it comes to AV gear but I must say WOW! THIS PLAYER PRODUCES A VISUAL EXPERIENCE! I was most surprised, and pleased, with the job it does making my extensive DVD collection look better. It does have its flaws however. The buttons on the front are all flush and the eject is adjacent to the power. I cannot count the number of times I went to eject a disc only to power off the player. Very frustrating.

This 4K blu-ray player is AMAZING! The 4K brings out the colors to life on a 4K TV. The 3D and upconvert on BluRay is my favorite though! Easy to set up and sound channels are awesome with my soundbar!

I bought this player for our new TV, and it was a great acquisition. The quality is really great, and it's quite good to operate it. So far I've got no issue or glitch and operates quite smoothly.
