I had my Xbox one hook to my tv to watch movies but after buying this Sony 4k blue ray player I have to say that the colors seem more crispy now. Probably the best 4k blue ray player out there.

Black Friday sale, it was easy to set up and connected to the receiver and TV easy.

Got Sony 4K Blu-ray for the bed room, easy enough to set up but i could not get it to update the firmware. System showed update available but just said couldn't reach server. Went to Best Buy and saw the LG 4k for 99.00 and snatched it up. Now I have a good setup in the Bedroom. LG TV and Blu-ray work perfectly together.

I did a lot of research on multiple 4K blu-ray players before getting this one. Dollar for dollar and picture for picture, you cannot beat this player. Get it and you will not be disappointed.

Updated my old Sony Blu-Ray player. I like the upscaling for my older DVD's. The 4K ultra is incredible!! Didn't realize what I was a missing with my old Blu-Ray player.

I replaced my 4K Samsung player with this unit. When I purchased the Samsung, the Sony unit wasn't available, I have a Sony 4K TV, and a Sony 4K receiver, so operation is seamless. The controller and functions are Superior to the Samsung unit . 4K, HD and 3D playback is outstanding. Great unit

So bottom line the picture is great! The sound is Dolby Atmos. My unit is hooked up so the sound goes to my Atmos capable receiver and the 4k ultra goes directly to my flat screen. I compared the Sony to the Samsung 2016 model and concluded the Sony was worth the price difference. So why 4 stars and not 5. When I first purchased the Sony the only streaming services were Netflix, AMAZON, Vudu and Opera TV--are you serious? No Hulu. Hulu and Pandora showed up about a week ago; since there's no Internet browser you have to wait for Sony to add services. I have several Sony bluray players and never had this problem before. It just doesn't make sense that the upgrade to 4k limits your options rather than expands them.

This is a superb 4K player and is very user friendly. It has excellent picture and audio capabilities when connected properly to the appropriate tv with an hdmi cable. It also has all of the most popular apps so setting it up with my favorite ones was a breeze. I highly recommend this model.

Perfect combination of my XBR850D and HTNT5 SYSTEM. Watch the first movie 4K ULTRA HD Pirates of the Caribbean sounds so crisp and clear I did not even realized my wife is besides me.

I was having problems with my Sony BDP-S3500- it kept losing the wireless connection even though there was no problems with the wifi network. This player connects faster and has yet to have any buffering issues. Also loads blu-ray discs quickly. I still need to buy a 4K movie to test it out.

Sony - Streaming 4K Ultra HD 3D Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player was easy to set up. It has great quality of picture and color. Would recommend to anyone.

This blu-ray player is worth the wait. It plays true 4K blu-rays instead of up-converting standard blu-ray. It also offers improved audio. This is the 4K player you waited months to obtain.

We haven't had any trouble with this player so far, the one we replaced started locking up and failing to recognize the DVD's. The pictures are clear and of better quality than the previous player, this player is easy to operate and set up was extremely easy.

Plays Hi-Res music files, includes playback options like shuffle etc, unlike the BDP-S7200 which will play Hi-Res but no options. The upscaling of videos is very impressive. The Disc is still the best way to watch 4K video, IMO

This thing plays just about any disk or audio/video format out there and does a great job. My Blue Ray movies look better then ever, and 4k movies are even better. It also sees all my plex media shares on the network and plays them too. It also plays 4k files from YouTube and Amazon over my wifi network about flawlessly. Nice player that's built like a tank. Some users are having issues getting some TVs to show hdr disks properly but it early yet for that format and this player so I'm betting it will get resolved with a firmware update for this player or the affected TVs. Doubt you can find another player that does so much for close to what this one costs.

Can't go wrong with SONY. (anything sony mid-range or better is quality you can't beat. SONY is Best for audio and video) A bit large for what most consumers want. Well worth it, if you have the room

I am very please with the build quality and over all performance with both Blu Rays and Ultra Blu Ray disks. Up scaling is outstanding for Blu Rays. You can't go wrong with this player.

Completely blows my mind with picture and sound quality (with a 4K TV and a good sound system, of course). Great addition to my home theater at a very reasonable price!
