I have always preferred Sony audio and video products, and I was glad to see that they had this new 4k blue ray player. The only thing disappointing was the few apps that are available.

All connectivity works flawlessly after that. Stunning picture and very easy to use.

Love the 4K
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a regular Blu-Ray with 3D and 4K up-scaling, but this true 4K (with 3D by the way) makes the picture even more clear and enjoyable. I also bought a few of the true 4K Blue Ray discs, including "The Martian", which I had owned on regular Blu-Ray, and tried both on this machine; the 4K disc is a slightly better rendering. I had been thinking of buying this 4K when it was $299, but just before Xmas is was reduced to $199 and I grabbed it. Probably worth the $299, but I was buying a gift for myself, so.. had to save money. Buy it; it's great.

I have an Oppo-203 for the main 4k viewing room and when this was on sale I snagged it and use it for the family room. Great performance so far, I have not had any issues with it.

I didn't even think I had to look at measurements when buying. I almost returned it because I didn't think it would fit in the space I have for it. I do like the sturdy outer covering though.

The load time is faster as well as the remote. I must admit I'm partial to Sony as I've had good success with them. I got this unit on sale so it was a must buy.
