The player is a high quality unit which is very quiet. The actual disc tray is hidden behind a panel which flips down when a disk is ejected. There is no front panel display but one press on the remote brings up all relevant information. It's a full width unit that stacks nicely with other components if desired. Unit is heavier than most. There have been some reports of freezing discs here and there but I have not experienced that. Older DVD's can play in original resolution if you do not want them upscaled.

This player is easy to use,and remote is simple with open and close button. Paired with OLED panel the picture is terrific.

Easy to set up and update. Has several high end features and sturdy build quality. Just gave it 4 stars since I haven’t had the chance to watch much 4K content on it yet to rate that properly.

I read many reviews and even discussed at length with the Best Buy rep purchasing this player. He was very helpful in breaking down the differences between this and the $600 version; the only difference really being the mounting option with the other one, which most people don't need. I'll be using this in the family room and not a "Theater." I think it's also really cool that Sony gives you 2 free 4K blu ray discs with the purchase of this player! You only have about 15 choices but it's still a great start to the 4k library!

After doing much reading on what I would call affordable 4K blu ray players. Everywhere This Sony was mentioned. I can see why. The picture it produces on my 4K Sony television is awesome. Set up was quick and easy. I made some minor adjustments to the settings. However this machine was good to go out of the box. Would recommend going to you tube and reviewing some videos to help one understand some of the capabilities of this player. Very happy with it. For the price I paid don’t believe I could of done better.

This is my second Blu-ray player and this one has lived up to its name. worked just fine out of the box, as the previous one did not, and plays flawlessly since. The menus are clear and clean, which makes this an excellent unit. I have stopped playing a video, and restarted it after the unit is turned off, which is very nice feature. I could restart the movie from the beginning if desired. This just works and works. Love it!

Bought this brand to match my Sony 4K TV. Easy to connect to the internet, Blue ray and 3D movies look great. Streaming works great.

This is by far The Best Blu-ray player Sony has put out to date. It even plays old DVD's with superb clarity and speed. The only thing I wish is that the screen size would go to full automatically. I just hate those black bars.

Nice unit. I haven't had it very long yet, so I've only watched about three movies on it, two UHD, one HD. I have to adjust color, brightness, etc. for each disk I watch. Didn't have to do that with my old Samsung player. So I'm not overly pleased with that aspect, but otherwise I'm happy with the player.

This player works well with regular DVDs and Blue Ray DVDs. Picture is super clear and it was very reasonably priced.

its a great 4k player. only reasons I cant give it 5 stars is that it has froze up a few times and has to be unplugged to get it to restart. otherwise its easy to use and has a good UI

Excellent picture in 4K and regular or Blu-ray DVD’s. Easy interface for streaming. Highly recommended. Very good remote.

This blu-ray player outputs a great 4K HDR picture. The unit integrate very well with my Sony TV. The on-line streaming services work very well. I think the unit is over priced.

Bought this player after reading from other buyers who had previously bought this unit. Had promised myself I would not buy another Sony product because of previous encounters with their services. For the unit itself, I have to admit I am very pleased so far. Hope I do not have to call them later on.

This player is quiet and easy to use. Super picture and logical remote control. Easy to set up and to use with my Vizio 4K TV.

I like how it has it had 4 HP cartridges what I’m not sure if I got conned into the HP ink replacement program. The gentleman that sold us the printer was not very technical and in my opinion did not know very much about the HP printer wide range of selections. So far we are very happy with the printer

The quality is out of this world. Colors, pictures and the ease you have with the streaming is great.

My old player was 8 years old and took forever to load. I went to find a current player knowing that it should also handle the 4K version of disks. It is amazing how much more clarity and load speed. This model is great. Is also very compatible with the rest of my Sony equipment. Worth the purchase.
