Posted .Hi George82, We are sorry for any inconvenience you had experienced. If we could not load the home screen, attempt a power reset to resolve this issue. To perform the power reset, press and hold the POWER button on the front of the Blu-ray Disc player for 10 seconds. The Blu-ray Disc player should turn off. If it does not turn off, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. Regards, -Erin

Great ultra 4k player

Has many apps for movies ,radio built in..very simple to navigate also.. the sound is amazing Crystal clear..can really tell the difference in the sound,very crisp.image is great. too.. it's built very solid all metal not cheap plastic looks amazing.. remote works great and look not cheap..i love it .

However when I saw the Sony player available I did some research on it and immediately became interested. Also right now if you purchase this player and register it Sony is giving away 2 4K movies and they are shipped to you in days. The picture is so crisp and sound is excellent. I recommend this purchase.

Not sure why people complain about lack of apps since almost every TV nowadays is a smart tv and not to mention the various smart devices available for really cheap. I ended up returning this player because I already had an Oppo udp-203 which is marginally better than this player, but I'm a perfectionist. You really cant go wrong with this player and I highly recommend it.
