Sony UHD Player From Sony

The solid build of this player is evident the minute you unpack it from the box. Extremely quick load times and silent playback makes this player a perfect addition for any home theater. Hopefully in a future software update from Sony, we'll have the ability to disable the "Featured Apps" section.

Read reviews on this player that were very favorable...My bluray player is only just that...upgraded to 4K...so far very happy with it...reviews I read reflect that and more detailed than I'll do here...remote is precise and comfortable with my hand...pretty solid player...can't really compare video detail with another player, but picture is rich and colorful...works for me...!

Aside from releaseing this way later than other brands, this does not support dolby vision like other brands do. Not sure if it will get an update. If it does, that would really make this great. I use my tv to access netflix and stuff. The apps on this player just seem blah compared to the ones on my tv... like amazon doesnt show HDR contel through this like the one on my TV does... Only recommending this because it is sony and hoping they actually update it. :)

Saw a big difference in color playing hacksaw ridge in 4K, wish it had a larger suite of streaming apps. But it’s a great universal media player

Then I decided to ask an associate for their knowledge. He suggested I look at the Sony 4K players as we both agreed that they were the first to make Blue Ray that their player is top notch in comparison with Samsung’s. With a high speed HDMI cable it is stunning graphics. I’m a lover of this 4K player.
