Took a bit to go from DVD to a nice blue ray. Still playing with the features, but the quality seems to be there. Great for use with a projector is you figure out the right adapter and change screen output.

This is one of the better brands out there. Picture comes out clear and sound is crisp. As a techie, I would rate this as an A+

Stayed with Samsung as TV and sound bar are same, this replaced a theater type system and rather than go with all the external speakers, just linked the HDMI to the TV and let the sound bar take over - and happy with the setup and results. Upgraded to the 4K - why not - and very pleased with that decision when matched to the TV.....WOW. It was time to upgrade! Setup and connections were a breeze, and we had 4K movies in 15 minutes. Well worth the price and very pleased with the purchase and installation.

So far so good. Upscaling from Blu ray HD looks excellent (LOTR, Hobbit), and it really does load the discs very fast.

Great picture, it was on sale too. Also ordered it on 12/22 for a Christmas gift and it was delivered on 12/23, better than Amazon.

We love Sony, but this 4K UHD Blu-Ray Player is a little disappointing. At least as far as the apps on it go. The sound would cut out on the SiriusXM app, and nothing would work--either on the remote or on the unit itself. Had to unplug and replug in order to get anything to work. Returned that unit and got a replacement. This one occasionally has the sound cut out on that app too, but it has been easier to get it to come back on. We've still had it stop a couple of times--the remote wouldn't work, but overall, it's working better than the first one. Wish it had a display on the front to see if it's "reading" the disk, or the location on the disk.

It covers all formats I have plus I have other show programs I can access. Sony has a very good reputation for quality products.

Good price and value. Replaced a player I bought earlier that I was told played 4K discs but found out it only upscaled blu-ray to play on a 4K monitor.

Easy to use and awesome picture. Have not played a 4K disc yet but if regular Blueray looks this good, can't wait.

Excellent video/sound quality is a relatively small package. Unit works well with other Sony products. Good value.

This unit had excellent download speeds for streaming. It synced right up to my Sony tv, no need for extra remotes. Picture and sound is amazing

This Sony blue ray player combined with the Sony X900F 4K UHD tv and a Sony sound bar are an awesome combination. I would highly recommend it.

We have new TV and needed to upgrade our older DVD player to be compatible with the new TV. We need Closed Captioning and some of our CD's like the Rick Steves Travel videos have CC and the older DVD player does not work well with the new TV and we tried the adapter and it didn't work. The Sony DVD has subtitles option on the remote and was able to get closed captioning. We were so happy and glad we got this.

Plays my legacy SACD'S, has 4k steaming and upsizing of regular DVD and Blu-ray. It has worked flawlessly so far.

Great Blu-ray player unfortunately I had to return due to it freezing a lot ! Wish I could of kept it the audio sounds great! Sony please fix this as soon as possible !

We had to replace our old one. We talked to the sale person. They recommend this one. It works great!

Great unit. I haven't had a lot of time to check out all the features, but the picture quality is great!

My grandkids about lost there mind when we couldn’t watch their movies. Went and got this new one easy to hook up and peace restored once again.
