Getting this item was as last minute situation where i had minutes left in my day. Upon entering the store, I immediately went towards the 4K section and saw the Sony display of players which were 2 models. This one and the Sony model higher. This one I got an incredible deal on and the specs were all there. Getting it back home and viewing the options as far as the streaming content, I was a bit dissappointed. I dont know why theres an add to button on the apps because you cant really add to the apps. Am I missing something here?

I have only used the player a handful of times, so far everything works well and the picture is good. No complaints.

After almost a year this blu-ray player is working perfectly! It is the ideal first step towards a smart TV. We get several streaming services without the high price tag of a smart TV. The reason I gave 4 stars is because connecting over wi-fi lags by a fraction of a second. (Video is not in sync with sound.) This may also be due to the connection from the TV is not HDMI ARC. (TV is too old to have that,) Connecting with an Ethernet cable directly from our router fixed the issue.

Bought this to replace my Vizio 3D Blu-ray player that quit working. Has a great playback and simple to install and use.

less expensive 4k player. blue ray and dvd's play very well. will purchase 4k movies to go with my 4k tv.

Excellent DVD player. Comes with a nice set of apps pre-installed and a decent remote. Plays everything I’ve thrown it at including old, home made DVD discs. I have been without a DVD player for probably 10 years after digitizing all my content, however the Wife was never happy that she could not play her old DVDs. This unit not only plays DVDs well, it’s helped make my marriage better. Highly recommended!

We watch mostly streaming, but sometimes we want maximum quality on our movies and this delivers.

All great! Apps respond quickly (wi-fi). 4K discs are the best, wouldn't trade it for anything.

This dvd is easy to use, will play dvds and cds. Picture quality is excellent whether using blue ray or regular dvds.

Great definition, great price and its a Sony. It even got deliver in time for Christmas.

Easy set up has some of my required apps would like ath ability to add other apps or channels
