This player made my older 3D TV shine. I watched John Carter and kept saying wow. I caught it on sale. It looks a little low end but performs fantastically. I just got another update. There is easy setup. The installed apps work flawlessly. I paired it with a new sound bar by way of an hdmi cable. I plan on buying another one.

Excellent 4k DVD player for the price, for some reason my PlayStation Pro won't play 4k movies so I acquired this awesome dvd player. I just needed it to play dvds but with it's wifi capability it has as many apps as my tv and can do so much more than just play movies

Just started watching my 4K blu rays on this puppy and I love it along with my 4K TV. The picture quality is amazing. Great buy, you won’t regret it. It’s smaller, that was a little surprising but definitely worth the price. Streaming is awesome too!

4K blu rays look fantastic and the player is very simple and easy to use. While the menu seems slightly clunky my main issue is that for just the briefest if moments, the audio would cut out during movies, it only would happen two or three times during a movie but again, it would only happen for less than a second at a time. Still a great player, if a little bit over priced.

I have the Sony X800 model for the living room TV. Needed a replacement for the Bonus Room Home Theater. Saved $100.00 with Black Friday Specials. Easy Setup, Excellent Picture, Love the Remote. Always Purchase my electronics with the 2 year Geek Squad Warranty. I've tried Samsung and LG models, Sony is the Best.....

Very nice player, slim and doesn't take up much room at all. Very fast disc load times and good picture rendition from all formats, DVD, Blu-Ray & 4K. Improvements could be made in playback options and home screen graphics, both seem very basic. But, this is a player, not a game console. So far excellent performance 4 weeks after purchase.

Excellent Blu ray Player, Bought on sale early Black Friday ad for $100 off.... After custom setup I have played 12 UHD Blu rays with no problems. Picture and sound is excellent. My only complaint is the buttons on the remote are very small and too close together.

Picture and sound are great. I am having an issue with accessing the Home Screen when connected through my surround receiver. Trying to figure out why. Worked fine at setup. If I connect directly to tv, no issues. Through stereo I get a no signal message until I prep disc play. If not for this issue I’d give 5 stars. Still, nice product at $150.

Great 4k player! Physical discs will ALWAYS looks and sound better over streaming! Let’s not forget, I don’t need internet to watch a movie I paid for. This player is the best of the best available right now! Don’t let this pass you up. Plus it’s on sale for $150!

A great value of a 4K Blu-Ray player. There are not many 4K players that have Dolby Vision support and don't cost as much as a TV. It baffles me how long it is taking for 4K Blu-ray to become mainstream, but until they stop making DVD players, it probably won't be. But they also still include 3D functionality, even though it is now defunct for home use, unless you still have 1080p set or a projector, but still not being set in 4K. The player is very fast to turn on and load and works great with my Hisense 65H9G. I put away the Sony remote as my tv can control all the functionality via HDMI-CEC setting and this works great. I don't use it for streaming as that is what my TV is for; again it baffles me that they still build the Streaming App feature into these devices. Wifi I get as its easier to to system updates, but most TV's are smart and dedicated streaming players are better suited.

Love it with our new 65 inch Roku TV! We put in an older Toy Story DVD for our grandsons and the picture quality was exceptional! The size it great. We needed something smaller for a DVD in our new media cabinet. It’s small but mighty!

We recently got a smart HD TV. And this Blu-Ray player synced with it beautifully. The set up was very quick and easy with nice step by step guides. And the quality of the picture is awesome, no hanging or stuttering like we were getting before.

This compliments my 75" Sony TV to a tee. Great picture, great sound through my Sony receiver. 4K is absolutely beautiful for all kinds of enjoyment. Just wish the Streamers and Cable companies would start producing more in 4K. Do yourself a favor and purchase a few $K BluRay disc to add to the enjoyment

There are more expensive Sony DVD player but this works very well and is a smaller machine. Wanted a machine that plays 4k and would last. Have had Sony products is past and company products are constantly a good value. Not the least expensive but hold up over continued use.

I've owned Oppos for years and this device under $300 is just fantastic. Blown away! Upconverts all my USB content to Dolby Vision with stunning results. Love that it has seperated dedicated audio/video HDMI outputs. Works great with my OLED TV and Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar.

Purchased a 4K television so I needed a uhd Blu-ray player. BB price matched on this Sony so I purchased based on price and reviews. Easy to setup and connect to wireless. Has preloaded apps, 2 hdmi, easy to use. Nice upscale of Blu-rays! I’m building my 4K movie collection now.

Look no further! This is the perfect Blu ray player. Easy setup and great quality. And if you don’t have a smart tv or anything with apps this comes with a few apps for you to use. I had traded in a LG for this that wasn’t working properly. This thing does the job.
