This is great for all my 4K movies. There’s Nothing like being able to watch a movie in 4K in the comfort of my living room. This item helps make that all possible. The picture is amazing.

This was a great deal, beautiful picture when playing a 4k movie. I have it hooked to an LG OLED tv it's like looking at real life. The only problem I had was my old Denon receiver would not except the 4k input, so I had to upgrade it. Otherwise it's a great unit.

I purchased this item as a replacement for an outdated DVD player. I like it simply because it has Dolby vision which most don't have at this price point. It's extremely small so it'll fit almost anywhere. Its a perfect match for my OLED TV and Yamaha home theater.

A must have for new 4k television viewing. Definitely a great player to make all your discs look great. Easy to set-up and connect to the internet. Feature packed and ready to go in minutes. Caught it at a great price too.

I wanted the best 4k HDR player I could afford to power my screen and after months of research and review I purchased the Sony x700. I fired up Blade Runner 2049 and ran into issues. Tested the cables and then recalled on the reviews and quickly checked to see if my unit had shipped with an old version of firmware and it had. Updated that quickly and i was in HDR 4K bliss. This player is awesome and truly makes my Visio M series shine at it's best. If you get one check to see if it needs to update before you start watching movies. ^_-

Awesome 4k Sony Blu-Ray Player was looking to update my old Sony Blu-Ray player that I had for years glad I did. This 4k Player is perfect nice size not too small not too big highly recommended I plan to buy another one.

My sisters Insignia blu-ray player finally gave out after 9 years of faithful service. I got her this 4K UHD player as an update for when she upgrades her TV. After a month and a half of use it is working like a champ. No complaints and would highly recommend.

The player is easy to connect to TV and to use, instructions provided are simple enough to be up and running in no time. great picture quality and sound. Suggest using good HDMI cables for connections.

I bought this unit on sale after my $300 Sony player died just past warranty. The price was good. The performance has been excellent. It's a bit light and flimsy compared the the unit I had to replace, but functionally it's nearly equal.

I think this player is great . I bought it to replace the one I have that is not Wi Fi. The price was reasonable since I bough it on sale . After connecting it to my surround sound system .I enjoy the movies

We have this hooked up to a system hidden away in a store room. Works great! Features are easy to use and picture quality is outstanding. We have Sony TV's and receivers so it compliments the system very well.

This is a very small, light player that has no issues with dvds, Blu ray and 4K discs.Picture is great with Dolby vision and audio has Dolby Atmos feature. Only thing I don't like is the cheap feeling of the player but it all works fine so I give this a definite buy.

I am very happy with my purchase. It shows flawless quality 4k movies. My only gripe is the HBO go app is not on the machine. I don't think you can add it. I may be wrong. But overall, very happy with my purchase.

Very happy I got what I paid for. Great picture. Easy to hook up. I didn't buy this device for its internal app. I have Apple TV and a smart TV for that. I was looking of an inexpensive 4K Ultra HD player. Since I did not need the apps, I also am not using the WiFi.

Caught on sale and wow! I gave up hope for my Series X to be updated to Dolby Vision and to fix the raised blacks issue on 4k discs. It's honestly night and day. One glaring issue. For some reason, Sony cant figure out how to auto switch between Dolby Vision and HDR. You have to look on the back of a disc to see if it supports DV, then go to the player settings and turn DV on. They really need to get it together and push an update so that people can just have the player detect DV automatically. You can leave it on at all times but the player will send a dv signal to your tv when the disc is not. It looks horrible that way. I got this player on sale for 149 so switching to DV manually is not a deal breaket for me.

Haven't had any issues, works well, really like it.I recommend it to anybody, great product for the price. Best Buy was very helpful with this purchase,it is the cheapest you're going to find ,they price matched ,had no other competition.

It is similar to the Blu-Ray it replaced. Even the older remote is the same. The reason for purchase is to support our 4K OLED TV which is does great. Also Dolby Vision is included, but is not on by default.

This is a great 4K player. The thing I love about it is that it plays Multi region. I had some movies I had purchased on Amazon and my 5 year old Blu-Ray would not play them. This player would. Great picture also.

Great 4K Blu-ray player! Delivers amazing picture quality. Delivers incredible sound including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Set-up is fast and easy. User interface is simple and user friendly. Highly recommended!

I do not own any SONY products except their DVD players. And, all my DVD players are SONYs. I have always had tremendous experiences with them and this one is no different. I bought 2 4K DVDs with this and they were great.
