Wanted a good Blu-Ray player and this fit my requirements. Was surprised at how fast it was when I used it for streaming. My old player took so long to start Netflix, this thing is Fast. Great color on my old plasma TV. A bit pricey, but top quality and great features.

Easy set-up, easy use. Great picture quality. Performed totally as expected.

It was time to buy a new blue ray. Set up was easy. The picture is amazing.

Have the Sony UBP-X800 in the living room hooked up to my 65" , just bought a 50" for the bedroom. Grabbed this one incase I wanted to watch UHD on the 50". I think they are the same, except the 700 has a cheaper feeling case, plastic instead of metal. But works just as well, and I am the only one using it. Grandkids play in the living room, glad the 800 is a little tougher feeling!

This is a great deal for a 4K blu-ray player. I recently bought a TV that has 4K capabilities, and I wanted my blu-ray player to be able to work with that and actually use the 4K capabilities. It's an added bonus that this player is not big and bulky like so many of the 4K players are.

Our old Sony Smart blue ray was full. It did not work consistently. I don't know how old it was, we were using it on a TV that is not Smart yet still working. This was purchased as its replacement and it is working fine.

My image quality increased alot on my pioneer elite tv. I dont have a 4k tv however I had a Superior TV. Image quality on youtube has greatly improved. Quality! Worth every penny if u watch YouTube or apps on ur tv. Very happy even tho it was a lil pricey.

Thought an actual Sony 4K player would look better! sometimes freezes.

This is a nice unit that integrates well with a Sony TV. Wireless seems to only be 2.4ghz but that seems to work fine for the streaming services so far. I wish it would have an option to auto select Dolby Vision as you need to turn it on manually to use it.

Great UHD player. Only thing keeping it from a solid 5 is that as of Jan 2019 you have to turn Dolby Vision on and off manually. If DV is enabled it stays on regardless of what’s in the player. DVD, 4k HDR10, 4k Dolby Vision. Doesn’t matter. Other players automatically switch depending on the source material.

Great product for the price, easy to use and the price was right.

Overall a very good 4K Ultra DVD player for the price.

I have only had this Blu-Ray player for a couple of months and have just used it about 3 times, but it has an excellent picture and plays great. Would most definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new Blu-ray to get this product. Excellent quality.

Have not used this unit much, just set it up in another room. I bought it for a new Sony 65" OLED TV, but have not upgraded an older Pioneer Elite SC-05 AV Receiver yet currently in the room with the Sony TV, so limited to pre 4K, for now. Setup was quick with no problems. Operating system seems responsive.

Suits people that don't want to spend much. Also has the latest for newer tvs.
