Wanted a DVD that would have better playing apps and 4K

Excellent player. Great resolution. What I like the most is.the dual output HDMI. This way I put one directly to the TV and one to the sound system. This avoids the degradation that came though the audio receiver that I have. It is great

Has many apps that my tv doesn't. Easy to setup and use.

This is a good 4K player but it does not work great out of the box. It'll play your disc but the color would randomly flash off or flash to different colors every few seconds and on specific parts of every 4K disc I had when that didn't happen on my blu-ray player. I changed all the tv settings and then realized something was off with the player and went deep into the settings on the 4K player. It took a long time to find the right way to adjust everything to where it looked normal. Ended up that the frame rate was on the wrong setting, and the settings didn't call it frame rate. Overall, it works well now but it should not have taken deep diving into changing every setting to get it to work properly. I wouldn't recommend it because it is so difficult to get it set up to look right. Maybe other 4K players work out the box, but this one doesn't.

This player was inexpensive and does just about everything. I bought it mainly for the 3D capability and the dual HDMI out. (I don't have a 4K TV.) I don't like that it doesn't have a display on the front of the unit and the home screen has featured app icons that you can't get rid of. But, so far it works great!

Nothing additional to say, have not used the wi-fi, or any Apps. For playing discs, it works great. (I guess using it went very smoothly since I already had another one and knew how to operate it.) I guess buying a 2nd one is a recommendation.

Great product love the picture quality! Would buy again

Bought this specifically to replace an older blu-ray player that had 3D capability, as does this model. Set up very easy right out of the box and pretty simple to use. Quick start up and movies look great. Only issue I have at the moment is that the front interface has no indicator for elapsed time, etc.

Have 2 Samsung's neither play all the movies, I was told that some movies won't play because of system updates. The Sony rock's, plays every movie. It's also easier to use specially when I have my mother watch her grandson.

Works well with our new large screen flat tv and sound bar.

I replaced an older Sony Blu-Ray/DVD player with the new Sony 4k player that was exceptionally easy to install and operate. The picture is superb on the new 4K Sony TV and it interfaces seamlessly with the new Denon 4K surround sound system

I purchased this after looking at other models and it works very well the only problem is if your tv supports Dolby Vision it plays everything in that format without switching between that and HDR 10 which can blow out some films color palette

After buying an 85" Sony TV, I needed a 4K blu-ray player because 4K up-scaling is not always great on screens larger than 65" (in my opinion). I was hoping this player would also download some apps; that is not the case. You can only use the preset apps. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

Played 4K movies just fine in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

Excellent UHD disc player. Solid construction, quiet, and versatile. I originally purchased a Sony X700 player because it was less expensive, but it croaked within a year. The X700 was flimsy and lightweight compared to this one. The only negative about this player is that it does not auto-detect Dolby Vision discs.

I bought the blue ray player at best buy on line, very easy. Then two weeks later I saw the blue ray player was selling for 20$ less at best buy. I called and best buy refunded 20$ the next day. The service people were friendly and helpful.

INSTALLED WALL MOUNTED TV 65 INCH AND DID A EXCELLENT JOB. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THERE PROFESSIONALISM AND HOW THEY HANDLED THEIR. I WILL USE YOUR SERVICE AGAIN. THANKS AGAIN FOR A GREAT JOB.

New blu-Ray. Very easy set up. The picture is very good.

Extra hdmi port for sound only output, other hdmi port video only to my 4k tv. If you have a receiver that doesnt support 4k video, this option is awesome, don’t need to upgrade receiver anymore.
