I wanted to purchase A higher end model but it was out of stock and I needed it that day so the sales person recommended purchasing this and everything he said was 100% correct this is a great unit for being at the price point it is and being a 4K model

I still have a 1080p tv, but it seems to make regular dvd's look better. I have a AVR and If you turn off the digital music enhancer you also get sound from all your speakers instead of just stereo. That is something I could not do with my old blu ray player.

It’s very good to connect with wifi and easy to use.

Great 4K blu ray player from sony i like it easy set up

This is great for those that done yer have a “smart” tv. As it provides all the internet capabilities one might need. Plays just about every dvd/Blu-ray format needed, plays .mp4 and other formats direct from a usb stick.

I like this player . Has Dolby vision. Most apps are 4k

As it being a Christmas present I haven't tested it, but because it's a Samsung that has very positive reviews I feel it will do the job intended for it. Once it's opened and used for a while, I'll come back and update my review.

Ordered the DVD player on line and payed for it there. The store let us know when it was ready to pick up. We waited in the parking lot and someone went in to get it for us. Business did not stop and that was really cool.

Like the picture easy set up remote too small.....

This player covers all the bases, except 3D. Really enjoy playing 4K videos and blu-ray DVD’s that look almost like 4K. So good I have two of these players, one for a Sony 55” and other for our Sony 49” in different rooms.

Not a 5 because of the remote. My equipment is hi quality therefore I only have a back light on when we're watching movies & the remote does offer a difference in any of the keys to distinguish 1 from another. All remotes for some reason have to be different than each other that come with any device at least that I've purchased.

I've had it for 2 years now and my only complaint is that every once in a while it doesn't sync with my soundbar properly and everything has to be rebooted to make it work. Still very good for the price

Disclaimer-I bought this used from bestbuy It worked great for the first hour then would stop working I’m sure this had more to do with the unit that was returned but when it did work it was great

I like my new mo3 player. My old I-pod broke so I needed something new. I also bought tax software. It was different than I expected. No CD. But with the codes, I could download the software. I also bought a charger for my phone for the car. I haven’t used it yet.

Remembered where I left off and very clear picture

Sony Blu-Ray players are the bomb! Our first one is over six years old, spent three years bumping around the country in our RV, and still gives incredible performance. Bought the new 4K streaming unit at Best Buy and are very pleased with the clarity and streaming performance.

Works great with my Sony TV,and love the ease of use

This unit has excellent upscale capability for Blu-ray and standard DVD's. We use this model on a 43 in LCD with incredible results. Note we use the X800 model on our larger 55 in LCD

This 4K player compliments my new 4K TV perfectly.

Upscales to 4k and receives and sends 4k streaming content where available. Occasionally it locks up requiring power plug to be pulled. Not convenient if its in a cabinet etc, deducted a star fir that. Power on via HDMI when my Denon AVR-X3500H is switched to BluRay input.
