I got this on sale for a great price. I couldn't be happier with its performance. 4k blu-rays look great on it. The only thing I didn't like was it was wired ethernet, not wireless. Other than that this a basic player and does everything I want.

So this is the fourth Sony blue ray that I have had to date. Same model. First one didn’t last before it had to be replaced, with issues arriving outside the warranty. Second one had same issues show up but still under warranty so Best Buy sent it off for repair. They had it for about 4 weeks and said the replacement part was back ordered so told me to go into the store and get a new one. So I have two, connected to different TV’s and both still under warranty but not for too much longer. Guess I am just hoping one of them will last. Sony use to be a premier product but no longer. At least purchasing from Best Buy saves me with their customer service and total tech support.

I am really enjoying this 4K Blu-ray DVD player. Even regular DVDs look better. I chose this over other 4K Blu-ray players because of reviews. They were spot on. You cannot lose buying this.

The playback works perfect, you can fastforward fast or backforward. I wish this had app to search and download, i dont know if thats a function theyll add later, see i have the app movies everywhere and this dont have a search menu to download aps

It’s good for the price. The first one we had to return because it wasn’t working right. And the man told me it was Alexa compatible, which it is not. But it’s 4K, and it will play my MP4 files with greater clarity!

I bought this DVD/ Blue-ray player after i got a 4k tv because newer tv's don't have audio video ports anymore. so my old DVD player wasn't compatible. Works great for my girls to watch their movies that they love over and over again.

I am upgrading from a blue ray DVD player. My gosh, what a difference this Ultra makes in the resolution from my older player. Now I will search for 4K DVD’s and Redbox for the prerecorded disks!

This is the best 4K Blu Ray player for the money. It has nearly all of the features of the high end players while costing much less. The built in apps work well and the interface is pretty snappy. 4K playback is excellent.

I needed a DVD player that could play my 4K ultra hd movies. This did the job. As long as you have a 4K tv and 4K ultra hd movies, you’re gonna have a very good movie experience. Totally recommend.

Pros: Compact, plays all format DVDs and Blu-Rays. Colors are rich and vibrant. Sound is full. Cons: unit feels cheaply made and flimsy. Remote control is small and markings are hard to read.

Love that it has the netflix features and apps, but I dont need them. I needed a dvd player that would self update. The one I had had to be done through an sd card. It was time for an upgrade. I just didn't like the price. Maybe I haven't maximized its use and that's why the price still hurts.

I also bought the Sony - 4K Ultra HD Wi - Fi Built - In Blu - Ray Player which was on sale $100 OFF when picked up w/ the TV purchase.... Great price also a great deal very very happy...

Great machine. Plays all types of discs (DVD, Ultra Blu-ray, Blu-ray, CD, and all regions of DVD/Blu-ray). Also has built in apps like Amazon Prime Streaming and Netflix. We are loving this machine so far!

I bought this DVD player as a back up for the same one I own. It's great and remote features are easy to use. I wanted to get an extra one for when DVD's are no longer made in years to come.

Plays blue-ray. Nothing new here. Only thing I dont like is; when resuming play from a stop or a long pause, the DVD will start from the beginning. It will not pick up from where the pause or stop occurred. Even my much older standard DVD player could do this.

Working well and fast startup time. Good response time for remote to app. Lacks the ability to add apps and comes with very few. I'd turn to a different brand if you are relying on this to watch basic apps.

This DVD player works very well. Start up is quick and the player works well. There aren't very many streaming options built in so don't depend on this player for your streaming needs.

Got this a couple of weeks ago and played a blu ray disc on it. Worked great. It's a mid level player and has the apps for Netflix, Prime, etc. Solidly built and it was a snap to hook up to my TV.

All around a solid product. I bought this to replace my Samsung 7500 that would stop playing BluRays saying incorrect region codes - Samsung has not fixed and still won't play NEW BR. This Sony is an upgrade of another player I have that has absolutely no problems. Quite satisfied.

Initially it took a while to get use to the software when watching uvdvds. So I just stuck with regular blue ray movies and that seems to be cool. I'm not very tech savvy, so it is a good device upgrade without a bunch of bells and whistles that I don't know how to use.
