For the price, this is a great value for basic Blu-ray and streaming features. One feature I would’ve liked to see is the capability to turn a non-Sony TV on and off and control volume from the remote, other than that, works well.

The Sony was recommended by the Best Buy team. It is a great value and will play dvds in the same format as our new TV. For once we have a DVD player that is fully compatible with the latest TV technology.

Black Friday 2018 purchase. The price drop at Best Buy was incentive enough to make the purchase on this 4k blu ray player. Great reviews on this product that proved true. Very happy with this purchase.

Previous had a blueray player that had problems with some of the dvds we rented. This one plays everything. Big plus is also lets us get connection to various apps to like Amazon Prime and Netflix with ease.

I purchased this item after speaking to the Sony rep in the store. I was undecided between the X800 and this one. Once I explained to the rep what I was trying to achieve, he recommended the X700.

Bought this for my father-in-law. It is still working at the one year mark, so that is good. He uses it primarily as a streaming device and does not have any complaints.

I finally caved and bought a 4K player during black Friday sales $100 off. Goes well with my Sony OLED 65" love that it plays 3D blurays too! Good quality- recommend.

I have a 4 K TV that I use WiFi to stream and it never comes out clear... going back to old school with blue ray and this is the perfect product It steaks great too

I am giving this two stars, but I haven't really used it yet to stream or watch DVD's yet. We don't watch many DVD's, but bought this to have the option, and also to listen to music CD's through out home theater system. We will use the TV mostly to stream. There is one thing that really upsets me. It comes with only a few bundled streaming apps and one of these is Fox news, the only news app bundled with the TV. This is not right... 'nuff said, and the reason for only two stars. Set up was simple, as it should be.

Been a pretty good player so far. Haven't had a chance to use it alot. Bought it in Feb, didn't take it out of the box till July. Does produce a fantastic picture on my Samsung 75" tv. Been real busy and then got sick in Sept.

Only gave 4stars because we had to exchange the one we bought because it wasn't working but bestbuy always does a great job with customer service. We took it back same day and was able to exchange it. Works perfectly comes with apps excellent quality

I bought this as a gift to go with a new TV. When we played the UHD DVD we did not think the quality was much different than when we played the regular DVD in our PS2. Other than that, easy to set up and use.

I purchased this when it was in sale to see if it was better then my Xbox one S for the 4 k ultra. I did not notice any difference in the 4k quality. I returned this player. The Xbox one s is all you need for a player and for the price you can play video games as well.

The player has been brilliant since the purchase and it has gotten a lot of use. It works seamlessly with my Sony Bravia television and Sony sound bar.

Recently bought an LG player for my x900f tv but it didn’t support playback of Dolby vision on it because it wasn’t a Sony supported DVD player. Traded it in and worked without a problem. Love it

Store personnel helped me, they were out at my location - found one at another store - called made arrangements so I could pick it up curbside. Everyone was so helpful.

Called the story to inquire about what was in stock. They pulled the item for us and had it waiting for us to pick up at check out. Can't get much easier than that!!

Watched the new star wars movie on this in 4K Ultra HD, although I couldn't really l tell the difference between this and a regular blue ray possibly where my TV upscales to 4K. But works great and integrated with my TV remove no problem.

We had purchased this same BluRay player earlier in the year, it didn't work too well, sent it back under warranty. The replacement works terrific, well pleased
