I purchased this 4K Ultra Blu-Ray player to pair with my 4K Ultra Smart TV. When I watch dvds, the picture is super sharp; it's like a party for my eyes, which is the ultimate enhancement for my viewing pleasure. I highly recommend it.

This is my first 4k player so I don't have anything to compare this to. But I watched a couple movies and can clearly see alot more detail from my older Sony Blu Ray player. The Dolby vision update installed smoothly with no issues and it has quite a few apps. Overall very satisfied for an entry level player.

Fantastic quality BluRay player with crisp clear visuals. Slick compact design fits easily on entertainment center. Streams apps well and in full HD. Would have gotten 5 stars if it allowed us to add streaming apps like Disney Plus, ESPN plus, CBS, etc.

This is our first UHD player - So far its been excellent ! Setting up is a breeze. Definitely make sure you turn on Dolby Vision after you update. It is turned off by default.

This is a new purchase for me of a blue ray player. Amazing how much better it is than the one we bought several years ago. Easy to use & with the new TV it has a beautiful picture.

Very pleased with performance and price. Using it as a mid range (price) component that fits well with my other theater components which include a 75 inch TCL TV. Next level up would be quite expensive. l

Can’t say whether this player is better or worse than others because it’s the only 4K player I’ve used. I can say it loads very fast, provides a jitter free ultra sharp picture and works with Dolby Vision. Recommended.

Bought a new 65" tv and wanted a new DVD player. This one is easy to use, has all the bells and whistles and works great! Picture quality along with new Sony TV is fantastic. I would recommend this!

This is my second unit I have went through. The first one was pretty much dead out of the box new. This second one works perfectly with great picture and streaming abilities. I would recommend it.

I have had the 800x for a year now and bought the 700 for my other 4K TV and you can’t beat this player for the price! It plays at the same level as the 800x.

The Sony streaming 4K Ultra HD Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-Ray Player was quick and easy to set up and use. Just plug in and attach an HDMI cable and it is ready to play. Good picture quality.

This little black box is awesome with a 4k TV plus it makes your old DVDs worth watching again. I bought this on Black Friday and was very impressed with the deal and the performance of this little black box.

Blu ray dvds look great but 4 K blu rays are spectacularl. Not expensive but is a quality product that reveals great pictures even with regular dvds I’m never disappointed with Sony electronics.

My first DVD player was a sony and I've stuck with them for years. Upgraded my tv to a 75in 4k xbr w/hdr so I got this new blue ray 4k player. Works great, easy to use and the picture is awesome.

It is just what we wanted. Something in a small size, but fully functional. It fits in the space we had planned for it, without standing out, and it plays DVDs with a great picture.

Great buy, bought this for $150, what a great deal! The only issue I've experienced a few times was freezing. Other than that its been great. Also, dolby vision is included! The quality of 4K on this is defiantly an improvement compared to streaming 4K.

this is more player than I needed to play my CD collection, but it has complemented my living room audio system nicely. Good sound playing back through a receiver. Incredibly easy to set up.

Crystal Clear images, user friendly, great quality. You can never go wrong with a Sony. I was able to play any disc with quality sound and image. Easy to connect to the TV. Movie nights will never be the same in my house.

I have had many different Sony products thru the years and have been happy with their products. This one is no exception - it was easy to connect and set up including connecting to the internet via WiFi. Easy operation, great picture!
