This is the unit that you want. I started with the UBP-X800 model, and it is arguably constructed better than the X700 model, but it DOES NOT SUPPORT DOLBY VISION! What on earth is that about, Sony? Supposedly, there's an updated X800 model coming out later in 2019, but this unit is worth the price right now. If you've not had the opportunity to watch a movie in 4K with full Atmos surround, you should do so at your earliest convenience. It has been said that 4K Blu-rays are going to disappear due to all the streaming services, but streaming services can't touch the quality of both sound and video from a movie played through this machine (on the proper setup, of course). Beats going to the movie theatre any day.

It's a good Blu-ray player with plenty of apps and built in Wi-Fi. I'd definitely recommend it if looking for a new player and if your looking for a Wi-Fi one or one that plays 4k movies

This unit has been the easiest Blu-Ray player to setup and use. The unit interfaced with my Samsung TV without issue. I really like the small footprint of the unit.

This little unit rocks. Comes loaded with Netflix and all your favorite online stations. Plug and play. Integrates easily with TV. Small but powerful. Fits almost anywhere.

I love my new smart 4K Blu-ray player. It's fast to respond...the smart menu is easy.. you can add favorites to your app list. Picture quality is excellent.

Works as it should the picture is good quality and got it for a pretty decent price with it being a 4K ultra DVD player compared to the Samsung one I had that quit working

Works excellent. I bought this model because it is smaller in size and fits behind my Wall mounted tv. It actually works while in its side. Great 4K DVD picture. All the normal dvd functions

This is my second unit, I like the size and it is easy to setup I like Sony s a brand and I would buy another if any thing happen to this one. thank you for carry Sony

This is an initial review - as the item was wrapped for Christmas and only opened yesterday. Setup was easy and things seem to be working great. Very small footprint!

I’m very pleased with the blu ray player. It was simple to install and works as expected. It turned my tv into a smart tv. In fact, I bought another one for another tv.

My 4k Blu-Ray discs load fast and play extremely well on this player. I love the small footprint it has in my entertainment area and the quality is nothing short of outstanding!

Bought this for my son to go with his 4K tv. He loves it. Lots of options along with streaming with it. 4K DVDs look awesome using this unit. Easy to set up pretty much plug and play.

Great item 4k HD looks amazing. Streaming option works well but is limited to the services included. Example, there are no icons for HBO Max, Disney, Peackock etc.

Nice unit. Easy hook up to TV. Smart player allows connections to Netflix, and other streaming services as well. Good clarity. Remote is handy and easy to use.

The Blu-Ray player plays Blu-Ray, 4K and DVD formatted disks very well. I have a Samsung OLED TV and the picture quality is excellent from every disk format.

When my Dad finally got a 4k TV recently I convinced him that he needed a 4k player to really experience it. This one is perfect. With dolby vision and a great price point, it was the perfect option.

Easy setup. Great picture. If you want a no frills player this is it. The user menu could be better, but it is what it is. An easy 4K player to use.

Go to the BB store and seek out the UHF Blu-Rays with all the bells and whistles... 4K HDR, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos or Dolby TrueHD. This player will blow your mind with the right media and the right TV.
