This 4K player is so easy to use and set up. Upscales movies that aren't even 4K. Super crisp picture. If you are looking for a 4K player, then this is the one for you.

Excellent 4K blu-ray player with multiple features. Streaming videos is a breeze and 4K movies look amazing. Older Blu-ray Disc show very well also.

Excellent player! I would highly recommend it! It can play 4K to DVDs. We have played our DVDs and they are so clear it is like watching a blu-ray.

Only had this for a short time. So far, the device plays well. Automatically switches over the tv to play as soon as it’s turned on. Remote for player does not power the Samsung tv on and directions are hard to read a vague but for the price it’s worth it!

Great player if yout still watching blue ray and dvd. Easy to use and connect. If your tv can support it the picture quality is amazing

The picture is phenomenal but some reviewers mentioned it’s Dolby Atmos capable but it only says Dolby Vision, but regardless the sound and picture are amazing

This player plays great 4K movies and has all the apps that I wanted. Unfortunately the remote control is pretty small and has no back-lighting. I need to use the light from my cell phone in order to use the control buttons.

As part of my updating my home theater, I included the Sony 4k Ultra HD Hi Res Blue Ray player. It was easy to install and the results are great. Will be watching movies instead of reruns this year.

This 4K streaming Sony works great for me. Be it a 4k dvd, or Blue Ray, or Netflex app it does the job for me. I'm glad I got it and a great price.

We purchased a 4K television, and in order to take full advantage of the range it offers, we purchased this 4K player to go along with it. We have a good comparison, since we used our old player with the new TV for a couple of weeks. Even ordinary DVDs are improved - the player upscales to take advantage of the range of the television, so we do not feel the need to replace our collection nor do we feel that the quality is a letdown next to the BluRay disks. Those of course are great, but then we borrowed a disk that is actually mastered in 4K and - unbelievable. I was not the first of us to say it, but I agree - it was better than being in the movie theater.

It is a 4K players that not only plays 4K movies, but Blu Rays and DVDs so you can keep your old movie collection. Plus it upscales the other formats so old films look incredible!

An easy to use device that is compact and fits well into the space I have available for electronics. I find some devices like these difficult to use but this one is intuitive for me.

I wanted to get into 4K UHD videos, so I upgraded by Bluray device to this model. Set up was easy and I popped in my first disc and it worked perfectly.

We've had this Blu-Ray player for 9 months and it works perfectly. Great picture and sound quality. I like that it's compact and takes up almost no room.

I haven't had a chance to really test it out but the set up was easy. I can't wait to view some 4k movies to see how great the picture will look!

The 4K DVD player is a great little machine. Easy to set up and with plenty of streaming apps. We use it to access Amazon and Netflix. As players go this is a very nice one.

I wanted a new 4K Ultra HD Blue-Ray player for a new TV. I compared lots of different brands and models and decided on this mid-priced Sony unit. The build quality seems very solid, and the picture was great. The boot time is quick and over all - so far I'm super happy with this choice and it's performance! My only issue is that this unit has built in Wi-Fi; and the Sony 4K TV I hooked it up to also has Wi-Fi. I've noticed I sometimes we get into the wrong menu - so I'm hoping as we get used to the units, this will not be an issue.

Very nice player that streams Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Youtube, Vudu, Pandora, et al. with no problems. Easy set-up. Would recommend.

So far, so good. Blu-ray audio/video is fantastic. 4K is absolutely amazing. User friendly for simpletons like me. Still learning all of the features. Nice, sleek looking unit.. Might return for a 5 star after I use it more.

Sony is very very nice. This is a very nice product for a really affordable price. 4K Ultra HD Blue Ray top of the line hands down
