I am very happy about the picture quality, even our older DVDs seem to have been enhanced. The limited number of apps is disappointing though. I guess I would like the ability to download some apps.

Plays every disc i own. CD, DVD, Blue ray, 4khd and international. Awesome and convenient. Great pic and sound to my sound system

Hooked into my system and started using within a few minutes. I can enjoy Amazon Prime now with no buffering which is very enjoyable for us. Great quality, and Great Picture

Buying on the needed rush I must say that I made a great choice, the pricing was great and the performance exceptional.

This 4K DVD player is just what I was looking for to pair with my LG OLED TV. The colors and clarity are amazing, and the sound is even better than with a regular Blu-Ray player.

Works as expected, nice compact size, easy to set-up. Was worth paying more to get a player capable of the resolution of my Sony Bravia tv.

Wanted a 4K player with LAN so I didn't need to use WiFi to stream Amazon or U-Tube. This 4K player is excellent and better than the other Sony Blu-ray players I have already. Just jam the ethernet cable into the 4K player and you are set if there is a network available after you log in. Fast streaming without delays. The dvd player is excellent too. A bit larger than the standard Sony Blu-ray player. Best Buy rep told me to get it instead of other brands. So go buy one!

This 4k bluray player had the whole package. Could not recommend it more highly. Great streaming, great picture, great sound, easy to use. A home run.

Unit was easy to set up. Remote has better rage than old unit so I no longer have to stand to use it. Picture is also Better than old unit that was ten years old.

This blu=ray player is easy to use and provides very good quality. I would recommend this player to anyone for a low cost blu-ray player.

We have purchased this for few months now. It works great, no problems. Also it was a good price too at Best Buy!

Pros- Picture quality is great. Load time is fast Good 4k Upscaling for DVD and stand Blu-ray. Cons The UI is terrible. It is unintuitive, Slow and looks terrible. Settings are largely un-explained. Menu structure is unitivitve. The first software update it installed crashed system and froze it up. I had to hard reset it. Sony should work on it. I didn't even try to use the netflix or any other apps. If all you need is a 4K blu-ray player, this is a good option for a decent price. If you want smart apps or anything else I might look elsewhere. My setup TV - LGOLED55C8 Sound System- Onkyo Stereo system

I bought this after my five year old LG player stopped working . Technology has changed a lot so I decided to get the latest and the best model . I compare this with a slightly more expensive 800 model from Sony and I found that this was definitely the better one. This is definitely a very high-quality product and since it’s from Sony you cannot go wrong with it . Sony might not be the big name that used to dominate televisions in last century but they definitely know how to make Blu-rays .

First ALL Blu RAYS freeze AND they need to be unplugged to reset them! This one has the best quality picture and sound of the several I owned over the years. While I do not believe in spending a lot for HDMI cables you MUST have Cables that have the highest tech built in. 4K, 3D, 2.0, Ethernet and 18 GPS for the beat performance. These you can buy for LESS than $10.

Nice size, sleek unit. Great features with Dolby Vision and Atmos. Excellent picture quality on my 8 Series TCL. Very pleased with this product.

I bought this product to complement my recent purchase of a Sony HD TV. It was an easy install and the picture is extraordinary!

Nice 4K bluray player because it has 2 hdmi connections 1 that carries audio and video straight to the tv and the other straight to a non 4K receiver. This connection allows you to keep an older non k receiver. You still get Dolby true and hd master audio 5.1 or 7.1 depending on how many speakers you have. You just don’t get the new Dolby atmos surround sound format which was fine with me because I didn’t want to purchase a new receiver so that I would have to add new ceiling speakers for Dolby atmos connection. .

This player boots up quickly and Apps are a snap to access. The most popular apps are already pre -installed - not a biggie but it makes this unit truly plug and play. We have this player as well as our 4K TV connected to an Eero via Ethernet. While wireless is built in, if you plan on streaming Netflix or Amazon Prime in 4K, for best results be sure you have internet speeds that can handle that bandwidth and routers/modems that can match the speed provided. A wired hook-up will basically guarantee the best results with this player and your tv. 4K movies play brilliantly if you are simply using it for that purpose.

I purchased this player to upgrade my existing blue ray player in order to match my new 4K TV. It works great and performs as expected.

Simple connection and ease of use. Small unit requires little space yet fully packed with features such as Netflix etc. Also has a USB up front and easy to get to..
