Great 4K player but a little on the pricey side. I regret not waiting for a sale. The menu took a little bit too long to understand how to navigate. But picture and quality are great.

I have the UBP X-800 and wanted to try and smaller version. Works well. Can't really tell a difference. Size is better and having Dolby Vision support is a plus.

High quality player with which to watch my DVD collection. Easy to link to smart TV with a single video cable and power.

This is our first 4k and player and we are happy so far. We have watched a couple of movies and they are so much more clear now.

This is a really good player. Definitely something you come to expect from Sony. The only downside is the limited app selections. This player will absolutely upscale your Bluray disks to 4k.

This Sony bluray functions better than a Samsung in my opinion. It's easy to use, delivers excellent pictures & sounds.

This player replaced my Samsung 8500 UHD player. The Samsung had a terrible lip synching issue when streaming video on my network which could not be adjusted. The Good... The Sony does not have that problem, the synching was perfect. It responds faster. You can have the player adjust the video output for displays without HDR. It also supports DolbyVision. Picture quality was without fault. The Bad... The Wi-Fi on this player is terrible. Signal Strength is a lot weaker than any other player I used on the network, including several older Sony Blu-Ray players and the Samsung. It does not have Bluetooth like the X800. The new screen menu system is not as good as the older Sony PS3 display. The remote is very tiny and the buttons are too close together.

We are very happy with the great 4K picture quality and especially the improvements it can make to a DVD when it upscales it. Thank you Sony and Best Buy!

Good player, streams well and the controls are easy. There is a bit of lag time in the open/close function, and setting up the network connection is a little clunky. Overall, very good.

4K blu-ray players and physical media aren't popular anymore, but this one is an excellent option! I personally haven't been able to take advantage of the Dolby Vision or Atmos yet as I don't have that setup. But despite that, the picture and sound quality are amazing for your 4K discs and 4K TV. Get this on Sale and not full retail price, as I believe blu-ray players are too expensive right now. I am a cinephile so wanted to get one ASAP, and got lucky with Black Friday Sale for $150.

Great picture & easy to set up. Only draw back is the front power button is super sensitive so if your just nearby or need to move the device it turns on very easily.

Great purchase. Screen is clear and works great with my 4K Blu-ray and sound system.

Finally decided to upgrade to a 4k UHD Blu-ray player. After reviewing several models I decided on the Sony UBP-X700 due to its size and quality. Perfect fit for my home theater layout. Great picture and features.

This DVD was easy to hook up and to use the quality is great it's smaller than my other 4K and it gives a better looking picture on my TV

Love this player! Only buy Sony products with occasional Bose. Picture is terrific on my Bravia and easy to use!
