Pricey, but worth it

I regret not waiting for a sale. The menu took a little bit too long to understand how to navigate. But picture and quality are great.

Great 4k Player

Definitely something you come to expect from Sony. The only downside is the limited app selections. This player will absolutely upscale your Bluray disks to 4k.

Ideal 4k UHD player

After reviewing several models I decided on the Sony UBP-X700 due to its size and quality. Perfect fit for my home theater layout. Great picture and features.

There is a bit of lag time in the open/close function, and setting up the network connection is a little clunky. Overall, very good.

Excellent value 4K blu ray player!

I personally haven't been able to take advantage of the Dolby Vision or Atmos yet as I don't have that setup. But despite that, the picture and sound quality are amazing for your 4K discs and 4K TV. Get this on Sale and not full retail price, as I believe blu-ray players are too expensive right now. I am a cinephile so wanted to get one ASAP, and got lucky with Black Friday Sale for $150.
