Easy setup and menu is easy to use. I have used mostly for disc but the streaming apps work great too. Would definitely recommend!

Bought this to replace a Phillips 4K player. Much better than I thought. Ease of setup and use a plus. No problems and great picture.

Very easy to set up and use. Sony makes a very good product and when paired with their TV and Receiver it makes for a great viewing experience.

I like the player . It has a great clear pic. Doesn't need to adjust to be able to see the movie playing. Its automatic. Works great with the 4k TV. Too clear that i dont need my glasses to see.

Very good Blu-Ray, it is of good audio and video quality, but the remote control should have an internal light.

This 4k blu-ray player has some good apps built in. It affords a great picture. It also upscales to near 4k quality.

Excellent picture . Easy to hook up. I would recommend . It was small enough to mount with a bracket above my tv hung on the wall .

I took half a star away for the awful remote. An other 1/2 star was taken away for limited streaming apps. Impressive picture and audio. Based on image and sound this gets 5 stars!

Picture looks great. I mainly was looking for something that supported dolby vision. Works great, even has streaming apps. Give it a look.

Pros, 1. For the money it's great for 4k Dolby Atmos Dolby Vision movies. 2. Supports 3D movies as well as almost all the new formats. 3. Reads USB movies, music and pictures. 4. Had another HDMI pass through for receivers without an ARC HDMI port. Cons, 1. Not that sturdy of a build. 2. Limited when using to steam networks into your TV and/or receiver like for example no Dolby Vision with Netflix. 3. When playing files from a USB drive it's also limited on features when playing MKV file. I guess that's copy right protections.

This is a great 4K DVD player. It also has a very low profile and fits perfectly in an area with limited space. Definitely recommended.

I need to clarify that this is a good review. I have enjoyed SONY's 4K UltraHD player. It is simple to set up and operate. The images look pristine and the audio is amazing. My problem is not with the gear, but with 4K itself. I can try to kid myself all I want but, at the end of the day, I can't distinguish the difference between this format and Blu-Ray. I've tried. I bought the special 4K-cable to connect the player. I configured my 4K TV to get the most out of it. The only subtle differences I perceive are with HDR but not in terms of resolution. Maybe is my tired eyes. Here's the recommendation, if you can see the difference, this player is easy and does the job, if you don't...
