An awesome 4K disc player that has Dolby Vision. Well worth the buy and it is simple to set up.

I’m a solid Sony guy when it comes to entertainment electronics. I never look at other brands, ever. Picked this up without thinking twice and I have no regrets. It’s future proof and works as I need it to. The only down-side for me was the price. I delayed the purchase and missed out on the holiday pricing. The interface looks cleaner than my older model but the navigation is still unimpressive. That said, I bought the BR to watch BRs, not to stream. If I want to stream I use a streaming device. The picture is excellent. I don’t have a 4k tv, yet, so can’t say much about that and the upscaling. I recommend the player.

After upgrading my television and receiver to 4K. I decided to buy this Sony 4K Blu-ray. Picture perfect ! Also very user-friendly

Easy to set up. played Blu Ray DVDs just fine. Small but powerful. Has all the knick knacks. Played DVDs downloaded from a computer.

Just started using this and so far so good. No issues. Plays 4k movies well. Decodes Dolby vision and Atmos (bitstreamed, I believe).

I was debating between this versus another player. The other player was offering free 4K movie but it was made in China, and this player was made in Malayasia. I went for "made in Malaysia" :) My last sony player suddenly stopped working and it was not even 2 yrs old. I was not planning to buy another Sony player, but Sony usually is a very reliable brand so giving it one more chance. The picture quality is very good (talking about regular blu ray disk, not 4k). better than last one. Also disc load time is very quick. Could have priced it better, the product quality feels bit under for the price.

Hubby is happy with how easy it is to use and how good it makes his older DVD's look on the TV.

It is easy to hook-up. The picture and streaming are amazing. I'd recommend to anyone. This product is high quality.

Probably the best affordable option for a 4K player that has Dolby Vision & it looks amazing!

I needed to replace my old DVD player and the video quality wasn't cutting it anymore at least not in 2021. This DVD player has 4k quality and is the reason why I bought it. It can play Netflix, YouTube and sometime 4k works here and there depending on movies that doesn't provide 4k. Once you watched a 4k movie it is great! So worth buying this. Quality is great, setup is super easy, built in blu-ray and ease of use no problem!

It works great. It upscales most everything. Had it almost a year with no problems.

Plays movies very well. Remote button layout is OK. Streaming functionality is very good. It’s hard to tell if the unit is on as it doesn’t have any LED feedback. Eject button is responsive. Picture looks great. For some reason, I sometimes get stuck on the title screen with BluRays and have difficulty getting the movie to play. I think this is a problem with the BluRay programming or menu usability. I don’t believe this is due to the player.

The DVD play is excellent quality. The pictures are clear. The DVD player is small in size and shape. The price was also excellent.

I got this 4K DVD player at the same time I purchased my Sony 950. I'v only watch one DVD, "Real Player One" to compare the picture quality with this set and my other 60" 3D Sony. It works, I'm not big on watching DVD's , but I know when I do, it will be a great picture if I choose to watch 4K's. The staff at the Topeka, Ks Best Buy were a real pleasure to work with, they deserve 5 stars as well.

Great to get 4K movies, all the needed bells and whistles at a low price, wait for a sale though, and a better choice than the 800.
