My nearly 10 year old Panasonic Blu-ray player was starting to have problems so I researched new players for a long time. It seemed when reading reviews for various players there were as many bad reviews as good ones for almost any brand. When this one went on sale I decided to take the plunge and keep my fingers crossed. So far I have not been disappointed or run into any of the problems some reviewers did. I don't know how well it works for 4K because it's not hooked up to a 4K set.

I needed to replace my old DVD player and the video quality wasn't cutting it anymore at least not in 2021. This DVD player has 4k quality and is the reason why I bought it. It can play Netflix, YouTube and sometime 4k works here and there depending on movies that doesn't provide 4k. Once you watched a 4k movie it is great! So worth buying this. Quality is great, setup is super easy, built in blu-ray and ease of use no problem!

I got this to replace my old blue ray player. Easy setup to the 4K tv. Now I can watch all those dvd that I got in 4K.

After checking out quite a few options, we went with this one. We have very pleased, not only with the picture quality (excellent) , but also with the speed in which the DVD's load. It is much better than we have experienced in the past. One additional positive--we discovered YouTube Kids (None of us knew it existed). This has been significant in helping our youngest son avoid the trash on YouTube.

This Blu-ray player has an excellent picture and the sound is also good. It says that it "up-converts" a DVD to improve the quality. I wanted to improve the play-back on some older DVD's that I had recorded on a DVD player/recorder. I compared the quality of the picture on my old DVD player and this unit. This player definitely had a better-quality picture for the same DVD. I am very happy with the improved quality.

Seems pretty straight forward. I dont use any smart stuff that comes with it. Just wanted a inexpensive 4k dvd player.

Has apps and it is easy to use. Beautiful picture output. Make sure you have an hdr 4K tv and a fast hdmi cable.

So far it's has frozen up once & had to unplug the power supply. Has not reoccured. Great picture & easy interface. Wi-fi works great, audio cds sound phenomenal. Very quiet unit.

This player is small but works as a well as any other 4K player. I think the value is great as it has two HDMI outputs plus Dig Coax Out so if you have an older receiver, or just want a separate cable running to your tv while still getting all audio options straight into your surround sound system, this player has you covered. It's smaller in size, which helps it to fit into more locations and/or helps to get your significant others approval!

The Sony DVD player allowed us to upgrade to 4K to match our TV. It offers a great picture and is easy to connect and use.

Simply stated, This works perfectly! It is connected to a Sony X900H. It works perfectly!!!!!! I highly reccomend it. UPscaling 1080P DVD's to 4K works well. I have it connected via HDMI to the TV, using CEC. THis works well. It is connected to the internet by an ethernet cable. This works well aslo, The App interface is quite responsive, I use it only as a backu as the X900H also has an interface to all my apps.

Comparing this item with others you will not regret there's quality and good looking 4k blue ray player I truly recomend it

One of the highest rated 4K UHD players on the market, and for the price, it cannot be beat. I wouldn't recommend it for streaming because it has limited apps, but the quality of 4K and support to DTS:X and Dolby Atmos is really what you want in a 4K player. With major companies getting out of the 4K player market due to the popularity of streaming services, this remains the best and most affordable option.

Let me start off with this unit is quite! Most units I’ve owned you can always hear the humming noice especially when the room is quite. This unit you don’t have that issue! I love the convenience of it having other apps installed already too. Works perfect if you don’t have a smart TV. It has applications such as Netflix, Hulu, & others. Overall very good unit. Love the quality it shows on my TV.

best UHD player on the market outperforms a similar LG

I've had no issue with the unit so far. Easy to setup and use. The only thing I wish it had is the ability add apps--new streaming channels.

Fret working 4k player. We bought it for the great room tv and the picture and extras are great
