Did a little bit of research first and it paid off. Easy to hook up and great picture! Be sure to get a 4K hdmi cable.

This Sony (streaming, 4k Ultra HD Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi Built-in Blu Ray Player) player is everything you will want. You can hook up your computer and watch Amazon/Hulu streaming with no difficulty. You can also add apps to this player. For those that are computer savvy, you will have no difficulty hooking up all your devices to this player; and for those that aren't, contact the Geek Squad. They will hook you up and show you how to use it.

I had already purchased the Sony 4k TV and the Sony Receiver so why not make it a complete set. I shopped around but ended up picking a little higher quality, higher priced and matching set to my other Sony components. I figured they could talk to each other easier than adding in a different brand that may not work with all of the other features of the other components. It looks beautiful and the movies have been spectacular.

We just purchased a new 4K Ultra HD TV and wanted something besides streaming to see what it can do. This is a great value for a 4K HD Ultra Blu Ray player seeing as how much some of them can cost yet I don't see what more you would need. Sound and picture are awesome combining this player with our 75" LG nano series and Dobly Atmos capable receiver.

This 4K Blu-ray player really delivers a quality sound and picture experience. That's really the bottom line for me. NOTE: If you're passing this through a 4k receiver, remember to set the receiver's HDMI port to "enhanced" for the 4k experience. It has some apps built in, but I don't plan to use them. I already have a Roku for streaming. If I didn't have a Roku, I might enjoy using some of the apps through the Blu-ray player.

I've been using this Sony blu-ray player since November of '18 with zero problems. It may not be what you would call "top of the line" but I consider it a huge step up from the Samsung model (same price range) I was using previously, The on screen controls are easy to navigate and adjust, connecting to wi-fi was a snap and updating the firmware is quick and easy. Picture quality is superb and I haven't had any issues with skipping, stuttering, lag, etc.

Needed to upgrade my DVD player since purchased a 4K TV. Player was easy to setup and works great. Works great with Sony TV.

Picture is great from 4K DVDs; have not used the streaming option (already use FireStick). Remote can be a little wonky.

I got one that was possibly damaged at first and then Best Buy was awesome and sent me a second one that was perfectly packaged. I am re-watching movies now because of how fantastic the audio out is! I'm only using coax because my AVR is so old. I can't wait to get an HDMI enabled AVR, and then really enjoy this. It has fantastic audio and video performance. Highly recommended.

Got this blue ray player as a upgrade from my previous player just because it plays UHD Blu-ray’s which is also a Sony. I mean it does what it’s suppose to do but sometimes you can hear the disc just spinning without doing nothing, just a black screen, I have to turn it off and on, it doesn’t do it very often but once in a while, did not return it because I noticed this just about 2 months after buying it. Other then that, the picture and sound is amazing, I got it hooked to an av receiver with Dolby atmos and a 4K projector with a 84 inch screen, no need to go to movie theaters any more.

I bought this to take advantage of the Dolby Vision support and couldn't be happier. I tested it with "Blade Runner 2049" and was blown away. Some people were upset about the lack of a display on the front of the player, but I am fine with it. I find LEDs distracting while watching movies in the dark, so it was an added bonus for me. Highly recommended.
