After spending 3-4 minutes in the setup menu, got it dialed in. 4K movies look great (and really sound good) even when played on an older 1080p TV. I was thrilled to find it would even play my old SACD's. The disc player was happy to take the PCM signal, which sounds so much better than any other media. Quite pleased with this purchase - thank you Sony!

Very satisfied with this device. Right out of the box this player was ready to go. Extremely easy set-up and functions to operate. Pros: Easy Setup, both WiFi and ethernet connectivity, outstanding display qualities even when upscaling, compatible with most media formats (4K UHD / HDR, 2K, BD HD, DVD, DVD-R, CD, etc.) Cons: There is no external LED info display, a very small remote Summary: you would need to spend hundreds more for anything better; for most home purposes, this unit is fully functional.
