It also has the big advantage of playing international discs. I highly recommend paying the extra money if you need to play such discs. The remote alone makes it worth the extra money, for our low-priced international player has a remote that is almost unusable.

I wanted another Sony Dvd player to go with my Sony system. I bought the Sony UBP-X700 4K. I now have apps, ( which was the primary reason I got it) It's easy to use, and makes all of our old Dvd's look better, and I don't have a 4K Tv, yet!

Much better than the Higher End Unit!

It keeps Pausing and freezing up! This One has had NO Problem's what so ever! Maybe The Higher End one Is Faulty? I'll have to drive it 80 miles to see if the Warranty is as Valuable as advertised< then 80 miles back home, with either a New 4K player or a refund!

The free channels are nice, as well as the convenience of having Netflix and Prime at the push of a button. The WiFi connection is consistent and it doesn't take up much space. The remote is also user friendly. Very happy with our purchase.

Sony 4K ULTRA HD

Have a friend that told me to get this Sony 4K DVD player. Said it was much better than my older LG. He was so right. It integrates seamlessly to the Sony TV. One remote works both of course, and makes things so much easier. Picture quality is so much better.

Great basic Blu-Ray

The second HDMI output is a bonus, though I don’t have a use for it right now. Other reviews commented on the light weight of the cabinet. I actually found that to be helpful while arranging components during installation. Once it’s installed, the relative thickness of the cabinet shouldn’t really be a factor.
