Exellent Blu-ray player

I have had many Sony Blu-ray players. All were good but with some glitches. Would freeze up occasionally and require unplugging. This UHD player is the best Sony I have ever owned. The picture is just excellent on both 4K and Blu-ray discs. Have never had freeze ups or ANY problems with this player. Highly recommend.

With the sale going on, these seemed like a no-brainer. They're straightforward, the picture is good, and they play just about anything under the sun. Oh, and the remote is well laid out. I bought an LG first and hated it!

Does the job without too many extras. Integrates well with all the other sony stuff / remotes with no extra setup. With the proliferation of smart tvs, smart soundbars, smart BD players, appleTV, roku, chromecasts, etc - not sure why anyone needs too many frills on a BD player. Has 'em. Don't use them.

I haven’t experienced any issues yet. It has an excellent picture quality and the standard def DVD upscale is far better than the average player. Really cleans up the image to offer the best picture quality you can get out of standard def. blu rays and UHD disc look very crisp, clear and vibrant.
